And that is why Tidewater Pharmacy exists. We are a new, independent, patient, family, and community focused pharmacy located in the heart of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. We will transfer your prescription from your existing pharmacy and have it ready in no time! We will call or text you when it's ready for pick. Simple swing by the pharmacy and pick it up or you can have it delivered to your door. For those who do not want to get out of the car, use our curbside service and we will come to you.
We carry all popular immunizations and appointments are not required. Simply stop by Tidewater and we'll take care of you whether it's flu season or you are taking a trip out of the country want to ensure you are up-to-date. We carry these routine immunizations at the store. No appointment is required.
Tidewater goes back to the skills that pharmacy was founded upon with our compounding service. Compounding is the creation of a particular pharmaceutical products to fit the unique need of a patient.

Having called the Lowcountry home since 2009, I wished for the opportunity to engage with this incredible community and provide pharmacy services that I found our family and friends needing and wanting. I dreaded being a number at the "big box" and as a pharmacist, I knew myself and this community deserved so much more.

My doctor called in a compound prescription for me to Tidewater that is required for a surgery I had in order to properly heal. I spent 2 weeks trying to contact them. They sent 1 text message that my phone filtered as spam, and never tried again to get in touch with me. After I finally got in touch with them, I spoke to Cheryl who told me the prescription was just under $80. I unfortunately cannot afford that and the doctors office told me I wouldn't be charged. So I asked them if they could just do half of the prescription, just like I've had to do at other compouding pharmacies, and

Took my daughter here to get her first Covid vaccine, and everything went smooth. I was told to come back three weeks later, no appointment needed, for her second vaccine. I attempted to accomplish that today. When I arrived, there was someone in front of me in line. Of course, I waited. And I again waited as a woman came in with her 2 sons (behind me) and approached a tech typing away on a computer to have her sons vaccinated. Then, another woman came in with her daughter to have her vaccinated, and I felt I had to say something since I had been standing there and no one had attempted to help

I waited for 45mins past my appointment time for a shot. They had more employees than customers and only processed 3 people in, again, 45 mins. I left and rescheduled.
Received a confirmation email and a text day of to remind me of the appt. When I arrived a paper sign on door said “closed”. I tried calling, no one picked up so I left a message. No calls back, no emails, only a text asking to rate the experience. So here ya go! 🤷🏼♂️ Terrible service and very inconsiderate.

How professional is an establishment, when they text you (not call) to confirm a prescription? I have never used them before, and didn't recognize the name or number. Not recognizing the phone number they texted from, it was deleted. Then for three days nobody follows up with a call.....I know they have my phone number, as they told me, they texted me. One would think, they'd assume the patient might need the medication he has been prescribed......yeah no! Here's the crazy bit.....I have to confirm the prescription my doctor sent in, with my info. Never have had to "confirm" a prescription before

Tidewater Pharmacy is The Best! We had a family member visiting who got ill and they used Tidewater because it was close to us. They were so diligent and kind to them that my son said you should use them. We switched 6 years ago and have nothing but the very best experiences with them! I Highly Recommend them. I just got my Covid Booster there and it went perfectly!

You won't find a nicer pharmacy staff than the staff at Tidewater. They go that extra mile. Always. The sincerity of the staff, the customer service (they deliver!), and the way they get to know you and your family is something special to find in a neighborhood pharmacy. Especially when it seems most pharmacies now are a part of a super something or a big box. Chad and his staff will always get my family's business.

It is amazing how professional, kind, and amazing Chad and all the staff are. As a client there Chad went above and beyond to help my daughter get a medication she really needed and left at home (4 hrs. away). He provided her with enough to get her through her visit here and it meant so much that someone cared enough to help out in a very stressful situation. Now that I am working with a local physician who uses LOTS of compound medications I am even more impressed!!! Great service and great prices as well. Just like the old hometown pharmacies. Keep up the good work guys!!!!

I had to pick up a prescription the doctor had prescribed for after my husband's surgery on Monday, I literally pulled into the parking lot at 6:29 (they close at 6:30). I rushed in, immediately apologized for coming in so late, but Chad welcomed me and reassured me that it was not a problem and he seemed genuine, not fake and just being polite. He got my prescription, asked me if I had any questions, went on to say how the doctor is the one that came up with the combination for the medication and how to use it. Too bad I came in so late, I might have browsed around the store and shopped.

This pharmacy is so wonderful for many reasons! The staff is so personable and friendly!! I like the option to have delivery or my prescriptions mailed. That really saves me time from my busy day. I also like being able to refill my prescriptions on-line. I always get a confirmation text or an email whenever my prescriptions are ready. Tidewater is so much better than the corporate & impersonal pharmacies.

But they do provide free delivery of all medications!
In addition to compounding, they can fill your regular scripts and have a small selection of your typical over the counter items including first aid and mobility assists (wheelchairs, walkers, etc).
