The Standard

I have gone to The Standard a few times now for my extensions and move ups. Anna is a doll and so fun to hang out and chat with every time I come in. Getting the extensions installed, and moved up takes a while for me, since I have 3 rows, but the service is always great and I am always pleased with my results! Glad I found this salon so close to home.

Besides her being an absolute sweetheart and a complete professional, she is clearly very talented!! I don’t know how she fixed my atrocious mess, but she did and she did it so quick and effortlessly! Her pricing was more than reasonable for what was achieved. Even though I trusted her 100%, she was explaining every step of each process/technique she was using the entire time.
I can not wait to go back and complete my hair goals!:) The Standard is super clean and comfortable as well. I’m 100% happy

Every time I walk into The Standard I'm greeted by smiling faces, offered a beverage of my choice, and my stylist/esthetician is right there to receive me for my scheduled appointment! Service here is 12/10 amazing, and I have always been absolutely thrilled with my results! I consider these ladies friends, and I love that they help keep my day-to-day routine quick and easy. Very fair and reasonable pricing for the quality of service that you receive. Can't say enough fantastic things about The Standard!

So many good things to say!! Michelle and Anna did an amazing job with my hair. I showed them some inspiration off of Pinterest and they matched it pretty spot on! I love my new extensions, they are low maintenance, discreet, and look so good!!
I also went to Rikki for my eyebrows and WOW. I never thought I could get them to look that that.

Hands down the best hair salon I’ve ever been to. I started getting my NBR hair extensions and color from Michelle a little over a year ago. I recently moved to Chicago and still drive back to Lansing to get my hair done from Michelle. She is amazing and her team is as well. They value education and are constantly trying to improve and learn new techniques. I have gone to a number of other salons all over Michigan, and have found my forever salon. I recently had my first appointment at The Standard Hair, and I had an amazing experience. I am a blonde, and extremely particular when it comes to my hair. I had Mariah as my stylist. She listened to me, and delivered exactly what I wanted. I had a full Highlight and also a haircut. Mariah was so meticulous with her foils, and took her time to make sure the color and cut was exactly what I wanted. The salon is very cute and comfortable. Where do I even start?! Michelle has been an absolute miracle worker and has made me love my hair again. After several terrible experiences that caused significant damage to my hair, I decided to get NBR extensions and the transformation blew me away. The extensions are custom colored along with your real hair so the end result is incredibly natural, comfortable and are by far the best extensions on the market!

To say the least I had bad experiences with eyelash extensions in the past and was looking for a new place to go to try it out again. I am SO happy I found the Standard! I got my eyelash extensions done here with Rikki and she is the best! She has amazing customer service, educates her guest on what is being done and even followed up asking how they were doing. Highly recommend her for that and her other services as well! My eyebrows we're terrible and she got them back in shape :)

I got my lashes done 3 weeks ago and I'm going back Saturday for the standard fill. I really loved the environment of the salon. Getting your lashes done is a process and takes time. The room and atmosphere the salon provides is relaxing and comforting. My lashes looked fantastic at the end and sure have lasted. I would 100% recommend!
