My son has been going to Dr. King at the crown Foot and Ankle Center for a few years now. He is excellent with him and his 1st surgery was a huge success. Dr. King is very kind and cares about each and everyone of his patients. The staff there is a added bonus very friendly and very accommodating to our hectic schedule.
10 out 10 I would totally recommend!. I loved this center! Everyone was so kind and very welcoming. I accidentally mixed up my appointment times but they had no trouble getting me in and they were very understanding of my terrible mix up. The doctor I saw was very kind and he explained things very clearly and wasted no time getting to the point.

Services
We understand not every patient we treat has the same needs but we strive to personalize care with proven, evidence based medicine to minimize pain and maximize results. We can help you achieve your goals whether its pain free walking, improved sports performance or corrective surgery for painful debilitating deformities.
Most of the foot and ankle problems we see can be treated with conservative measures. However, in some cases progressive deformities and chronic pain do not respond to these types of treatment. Dr. King is board certified in foot and reconstructive ankle surgery and can recommend effective surgical options when indicated.
Any questions you have regarding the scheduling of your surgery should be directed to the office at (859) 317-9019. At this time, except for in-office procedures, all procedures are performed at the University of Kentucky Good Samaritan Hospital. You should expect a phone call 24-48 hours prior to your surgery confirming the time of the surgery and when you need to be at the hospital for registration.
These straightforward procedures can be performed in the office. In some cases, these procedures can be performed at the time of your initial appointment. There may be circumstances that require an additional appointment to have the procedures performed. You MUST make arrangements for a responsible adult to stay with you for the first night following your surgery.
If you've never considered your shoes as the source of your back pain, think again. Choosing to wear the wrong shoe or one that fits incorrectly contributes to back pain and other unhealthy conditions for your feet and other joints. The professionals of Crown Foot and Ankle Center in Danville and Lexington KY can accurately help you indicate what is causing your back pain.

I received EXCELLENT care at Crown Foot and Ankle..
The staff was professional, knowledgeable!
Registration, billing and contacts with me was the best.
COVID Precautions were in place and adhered to at all my visits.
Dr King prepared me well for my surgery…answered all my questions..made me aware of my responsibilities in the process…
It was exactly as he explained. He is very calming and reassuring.
I had much anxiety and fear of the unknown with the surgery.
I would HIGHLY recommend Dr King and his staff!!
I would also like to compliment the staff at Good Sam… Super job!!!

My experience with Dr. King was not as good as most of the posts I have read . The Doctor was making the surgery I needed out to be totally major, I would not be able to work and maybe not able to walk for 30 to 45 days, charged my insurance for a 30 minute appointment , when he was finished in less than 8 minutes. My co-pay for just the short appointment was $100.00 + higher than any co-pay I have ever paid in the many years that I have been on this insurance. My last cardiologist appointment I paid $41.01 as my co-pay. Advice from others say that my charges was padded with services that were

From the very start Dr.King made me feel extremely confident that I had chosen the right place to get relief from the tremendous pain I was in every time I tried to take a step. He explained all that was going on with my ankle. It was a mess( in his words too). I was never pushed in anyway to do anything I didn't want. But after weighing the options, and we talked more than once about it because as he said, "Once the surgery is done you can't take it back. Best decision I ever made. The surgery went great. All the post-op treatments from cast to staple removal to boot to getting me to take therapy
