With more than 40 years of experience in the food and retail business, Mike has the knowledge that keeps Gilbert Fireplaces & BBQs stocked with the latest in the grill and fireplace industries. In his spare time, Mike enjoys hiking and a tall glass of Dogfish Head.

The owners of this store showed an act of amazing kindness to one of my neighbors, she had just lost her husband this September, and he was an BBQ master always made a turkey for Thanksgiving. The owners showed up for her for Thanksgiving and showed her how it’s done and helped her to make a Thanksgiving just like her husband had. Wow, what a beautiful story… Thank you Gilbert Fireplace I can’t wait till I can buy a BBQ from You!

Ryan couldn’t have been better! I sent an email the night before I visited, inquiring if they had a Yoder pellet smoker in stock. The next morning, BAM! I got a detailed reply.
I visited that morning, and Ryan took great care of me. He even arranged to have the smoker delivered the same day. I smoked Ribeye that evening.
The quality of service? OUTSTANDING!

First of all let me just say how professional Ryan was in helping me find the right parts I needed to get the job done right the first time. Also he took the extra time to explain what needed to be taped and what did not. Then the price was way cheaper than any other big box store that I have been to for these items. Great shop with knowledgeable and professional staff! My husband and I got our Big Green Egg from Gilbert Fireplaces and BBQ’s and it was one of the best purchases and experiences! Hannah and Ryan showed us all the tips and tricks in using the Green Egg as well as what type of charcoal we should use! The shop has high quality products you won’t be disappointed with! We always go back to Gilbert Fireplaces and BBQ’s to pick up charcoal, seasonings etc, and to say hi to the amazing employees that make you feel like family! Always excellent service here. Highly recommend if you need an electric fireplace. They helped us choose one for a custom cabinet we we were having built. Was great to actually see them in person to compare the flame options. Good selection of grills too.
Last weekend we took our tabletop fire pit that quit working in and they fixed it while we waited. It works like new now.
