In every class our students interact with the content through a Christian worldview. Our caring faculty guide students as they encounter hard questions, challenging ideas and a variety of opinions. Students are encouraged to find truth, goodness and beauty in God's world. Our classical Christian curriculum is anchored to the seven liberal arts with an emphasis on mathematics and sciences, as well as history, literature, theology, music and art.
Our style of classical is warm and grace-filled, led by a faculty of devoted Christians who love their students. Our curriculum is based upon a centuries-old understanding of what it means to be an educated human being. While the subjects are challenging, our skilled and caring faculty support the students as they interact with the ambitious course content.

Heritage Classical Christian Academy began in 1999, when Chris Baker, with the help of Bill and Lois Linton established Wildwood Christian School as an independent Christian school committed to providing a classical and biblical education for students in Grades 7 - 12. Located in Wildwood, Missouri, the school opened its doors to five students with a vision to help parents educate their children with love for the Lord their God - with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.

Research is showing that there are great reasons to choose a small school over a large school, even if large schools can offer more choices, more resources, more bells and whistles. Small schools have been proven to be safer, to offer more equitably distributed learning, and to provide a culture of connectedness.

The school community - teachers, students, administrators and families - work together to make this a unique educational environment. As a dad who has sent two sons and two daughters to HCCA, I have been extremely pleased with the educational rigor, the proven classical approach to learning, and the pervasive Christian attitude and discipleship.
