In 1962 Junior and Martha Tysdal established Tysdal Laundry Center one of the first automated laundromats in Provo. About 17 years later, Junior was diagnosed with cancer. He taught Martha how to run the business, to repair the washing machines and even to scale the building's roof to repair the air conditioner.
When she wasn't repairing machines or scrubbing the floor she sat and enjoyed visiting with customers. Martha Tysdal, retired from the laundry center 42 years to the day it opened at age 84, but would come down weekly to the laundromat until she passed away to do her laundry and to swap laundry tips with the other customers.

This place has gone downhill. Most of the washers and dryers are broken and the place was rather dirty. The dryers that worked didn’t work very well and I had to pay three times as much to get them to dry.
The restroom was disgusting. This place either needs to be closed or a change in management is necessary.

This place shows a 3.5 rating which is why I chose to go. Upon arrival, the place had several machines that were marked out of order and the ones that were working were filthy. The fronts of the washers were dirty, where you place the detergent & softener was black & slimy, My expectations definitely were not met at this facility.

Awful. it’s dusty, not up-kept well, and most of the machines are out of order. at least 3x there have been occasions where either the washing machine didn’t even rinse my clothes or the dryer would ‘start’ and i would come back 40 minutes later to see that all my clothes did not dry at all. and it’s not like there’s anyone there i could talk to to let them know those machines were also broken, or any way to get my money back.
tldr; HUGE huge waste of time and money. just go somewhere else.

Pretty clean, they sell detergent which is convenient, and the washers and dryers are simple to use. The first dryer I put my clothes in didn't work, but the owner helped me out pretty quickly to get another one that worked. There were lots of machines that were open, so it wasn't hard to find one to use. Also, the change machine (for 1's and 5's) worked great, and was very convenient.

Traveling for work and living out of a hotel is rough especially when it comes to laundry. Luckily a local employee told me about this location near by. I called to see if they had drop off laundry service, they did. I went to drop off my laundry the person there was very friendly. I did this service twice before I left. The price was fairly good. Especially for how nice they left my clothing. I would recommend them.

Our washer broke and we're waiting on a part, but with a family of 6 (4 kids 6 and under), our laundry situation is a wreck. I've been avoiding dealing with it, but I just used my last pair of clean underwear today, so here I am at 3 in the morning.
With so many kids, the middle of the night was the easiest time for me to haul our 10ish loads of laundry to a laundromat. I was worried about being out alone this late at night, but the laundromat is located in a safe, student neighborhood not too far from BYU.
There are a few single load washers ($1.50), several double load washers ($2
