While the branch had brought some measure of success, primarily serving mortgage brokers and lenders, the owners realized that there was a need for a more " hands on" management approach as well as expansion of its client base. In January of 1997, Debbie Hammons, an experienced manager and closing professional was hired as President and Managing Partner with the goal of overseeing the day to day operations and to seek expansion opportunities.

Customer service and errors! Do not sign documents if the buyer is a mail away and you do not see the buyers signed documents. They won't tell you if they don't have them. Check your closing statement carefully. The title search company missed the lien and would have funded us the entire amount. The title company took no responsibility for this miss, which is a big one, and in fact we still had to pay for the search that did not happen. The owner said, "Well, we still have to pay them".
