We got a puppy and we're looking for a dog friendly cafe. We were not disappointed and the breakfast rolls and coffee were amazing. The team were very welcoming and friendly. CoCo also gave it the paws up. 😃

This is the best cafe in Binghamton hands down. Management is awesome. Love Ryan he adds a smile to my day everyday and makes the coolest vibe in there. Drinks are always made right and staff know how to handle detailed orders. Bakery is on point love the scones! All my friends who visit from Brooklyn love it and that's saying something!

Driving through Binghamton and needed coffee/breakfast sandwich, it was between here and Starbucks. So we took a chance and ventured into Strange Brew Cafe. 10/10 recommend, the baristas were extremely nice. We forgot a mask and NY Law requires them currently so they gave us one for free. They were helpful on their breakfast sandwich recommendations and prepared the food fast. Looking forward to stopping their again

Absolutely amazing cafe with friendly staff and gorgeous food. The music wasn't too noisy, but the kitchen noise was a bit loud.
The chorizo hash was executed perfectly with roasted golden potato and chirizo slices, suitable amount of cheese and perfect tried eggs. The green onions brought more flavour to the dish and prevents you to feel too full.
The lemon curd blueberry cheesecake was perfect as well. The lemon curd was not sour nor was the cheesecake too filling. The sweetness was perfectly balanced. It was also very creative to not have solidified the cheesecake to keep it spreadable.

We traveled three hours to Binghamton for the weekend. This was my first time to visit this restaurant; it has multiple great reviews online and so I decided to give it a try for breakfast.

The menu selection is great for both breakfast and lunch and I appreciate that they have vegan options for the breakfast meals. The staff member who took my order was very friendly. I am strict vegan and ordered the Santa Fe Scramble and substituted the egg with tofu. I did not have the potatoes that come with it and ordered multigrain bread instead. I had to pay for the bread which I think was a bit much

Was in town for one day and decided to have a late breakfast. The beverages (Hot chai tea latte for me) was the best I had. Other members of my party thought the coffee beverages were top-notch as well (iced caramel latte). Asked for a recommendation on food and I had what was the equivalent to a turkey club. It was outstanding! We also ordered two breakfast sandwiches on Bagels which were also very very good. However the biggest reason for the five star review was not necessarily the food and beverage but it was the staff! Never had I felt so welcome in a place. Especially these days with staff

On Sunday 8/15/21, bathroom was unsanitary with no toilet paper in either dispenser (at 10:00 a.m. on a Sunday). Also scalding hot water as soon as you turn on the faucet. Told male employee who seemed to be in charge. He was rude and dismissive and asked if I looked under the sink for toilet paper. Uhm, nope. Not my job!
Then they gave my iced tea to a different customer when I was in the bathroom. We were eating outside because of Covid. I asked if the new tea could be brought to me outside, same rude male employee said no. A lovely, helpful, female employee said, sure, I will bring it out to

Strange Brew smells like delicious warm coffee. I stopped here on a rainy Labor Day weekend and found the staff and customers to be friendly and welcoming. Well needed in Binghamton, not much open during the holiday. Good food.

Brilliant food, they had a wild mushroom french toast special that was unbelievably good. The coffee was great and lovely location only a couple minutes walk to queen's park. Will definitely recommend to my friends and it's definitely worth going out your way for.

Breakfast food done SPECTACULAR! Came here on a whim from one of the locals in town and got the Brooklyn breakfast sandwich (classic Bacon, Egg, Cheese) and it was overflowing with food and tasty. Caramel frappe also pictured was sweet and deictable

Very accommodating with dietary restrictions, as one of my friends has a dairy intolerance and they let us know of other popular items to make sure to ask with no butter for future reference!

Delicious vegetarian breakfast/lunch options! I had the garden sandwich with egg whites, spinach, and goat cheese. A little rich and messy, but very tasty. Their chai with oat milk was delicious as well. Very busy place in the morning, but we were able to find a seat easily enough.

Picked up red bean bubble tea with oat milk and breakfast potatoes to go. The potatoes were crispy and tasty but could have used a bit less salt. The tapioca in the bubble tea was still warm which was a bit of a weird sensation but the flavor was good and they gave plenty of tapioca. They had nondairy milk (oat, almond, soy) options as well as "light ice". It looks like the seating is limited to just an hour.

Cozy little shop. Im sure it gets extremely busy when school is in season. It was winter break so twas quiet. My boyfriend and i shared the pulled chicken sandwich and the buffalo chix mac and cheese. The sandwich was delicious. Chicken was super fresh. It was so good we didn't even take the tomato off (we hate tomAtes). The buffalo mac n cheese had good flavor and wasn't very heavy which i liked. But it was actually a bit too spicy for me. Boyfriend demolished it though. Tried a brownie which was kinda stale but i obviously ate it anyway because you don't just waste a big brownie

3 words: hipster java spot - love the decor and the vibe and all the choices. I even loved the holiday instrumental music that was playing (lol, I dated myself when I asked the title of the CD that was playing ). The dining room is small, and it appears that guests tend to "linger" at their tables, most solo reading, gazing out at the street, or on a laptop. But we aren't "dining in" at all these days, so we didn't require seating. As they post on their paper coffee cups "Parking sucks but our coffee makes it worth it!" Lol, I think I would agree. Of course

Trying to find a decent cafe on my way to the Finger Lakes, and came across this spot around lunch.

The Mac and Cheese was good. Worth the $5 price on a Monday, but at the normal $10+ range, there wasn't nearly enough chicken or bacon in the chicken bacon ranch mac to justify the price. I was surprised there was any chicken in the bowl, it was so difficult to find. My wife's mushroom mac was much better, with the onions doing most of the heavy lifting.

And as usual, when asked for an extra dry cappuccino (mostly foam, rather than milk) with a splash of vanilla, we received an oversweetened

Walked to this cute little spot. Walking distance from
The Doubletree. The staff was super helpful I was going to grab a cold brew but he recommended a nitro and wow what a beautiful coffee. Smooth and full of flavor ...I like my coffee black so this was just a beautiful flavor without anything extra needed.

This place is exactly what it bills itself as: healthy, trendy, hipster, healthy foods.

I wouldn't go out of my way to come here; but that is just me. I like flavorful foods; and I felt myself getting younger and my telemeres lengthening as I ate.

The mac and cheese sandwich seems to be a staple here and it tasted fresh-made. The mac was soft and cheese well melted! A little bland for my taste; but that was probably my fault, because I ordered it without a meat. Recommend you add bacon or something a little savory for taste!

A charming little nook in downtown Binghamton. I typically get their teas, which are loose (not bagged) and generously served in a big mug while dining in (under non-pandemic circumstances). A nice place to relax on a cold winter day.

I haven't tried their Grilled Mac and Cheese Sandwich but I've heard rave reviews from friends.

We came in around 9:30am, it was a bit crowded, but not really. We got a Caribbean smoothie which had pear, strawberry and pineapple in it, mocha frape, and a small cappuccino. To eat we had homefries, chocolate crissont, a cream cheese bagel, and a egg and cheese sandwich on house bread.

They have a pretty casual environment. I love their decor. They have tables and chairs that can sit 1-4 people at each table. They also have 2 couches that can sit 4 people comfortably.

Their cafe was really clean and neat. The cashier was really friendly. We got our drinks and sat down to wait for them to
