Our way of health care uses an evidence-based approach to whole-person care. This means we combine scientific evidence with our experience as clinicians and your needs as a patient. We set our foundation in what we call the Six Pillars of Health: exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress management, mindfulness, and building positive social networks.
With these at the core of our health care, we provide our patients with the best in preventative care. The Center for Health and Sports Medicine has created a comprehensive approach to primary care, offering a continuum of services that enhance the patient experience and improve the continuity of your care.

Services
The Center for Health & Sports Medicine is focused on developing long-term patient-physician relationships, built on a foundation of overall health and prevention. We combine the best practices in primary and preventative care, as well as exercise and sports medicine, to accommodate a range of care needs.
Dr. Ross Osborn is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. He founded the Center for Health and Sports Medicine realizing that both families and athletes in the Jacksonville area could benefit from an approach to health that used prevention, nutrition, weight loss and exercise to promote wellness.
Preventative care serves as the foundation of well-rounded, impactful primary care. By employing a medical approach that is driven by scientific evidence, we can effectively design personalized strategies for preventing illness and injury throughout the year. Starting with your annual exam, we will discuss your health-based goals, as well as track your diet, exercise, and vaccination history.
Our sports medicine services bring together evaluation, treatment, therapy, sports science and performance development in a seamless, team-based approach. Led by our sports medicine physicians, patients can be evaluated, rehabilitated and strengthened from start to finish under one roof. This unique continuity of care provides the ultimate patient-centered recovery.
The Wellness Center facility is currently open to all members. Our existing membership cap allows Wellness Center users to better maintain social distancing, while additional sanitization and cleaning efforts are being executed above and beyond our already-stringent protocols. Our Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art fitness facility that functions at the core of our wellness program, The Ethos Project.
