I loved getting my makeup done by Koko! I was nervous as it was the first time I allowed anyone to do my face other than myself. She was attentive and gave me exactly what i was looking for. I wanted bold eyes and she delivered it. Also, the way she perfected my eyebrows to look identical was something i always struggled with and she did that!
My makeup was natural and flawless. I would definitely recommend makeupbykoko to anyone I know. I never wear wear makeup only for like special occasions but whenever I need my makeup down I always go to Akila. She knows I'm not really a makeup fan and I don't really know a lot about makeup so she puts very light makeup on, which I love.

My name is Akila Noguera-Devers and I have had a passion for beauty ever since I could remember. For years, I mostly did the makeup of friends and family but in college I decided to test my skills by auditing a Stage Makeup class. After that class, I expanded my clientele to include bridal, special events, film, and theatre.

Akila was fantastic! She was very punctual, professional, and attentive. She took all precautions and wore PPE the whole time. I loved the result. I wanted a natural look, she gave me a natural and elegant look! She is very gifted and I'm looking forward to having her as my MUA for all future events!

Scheduled same day makeup services prior to attending a wedding. Ppe was worn and makeup was cleansed prior to starting. I have no creativity so I showed her my dress and she created a look to match. I received numerous compliments that evening. Highly recommend and would use again next time i'm in DC.

Akila did a wonderful job doing my make up and her prices are reasonable. It was amazing at the transformation. I asked for the Smokey Eye look with golden tones and she did exactly what I wanted. If you know what you want or have an idea of what you want Akila can do it. Very professional and extremely nice. Eye
