We pride ourselves representing clients with difficult, complex, novel, and sensitive matters. In keeping with that view, we have helped clients in such varied and seemingly disparate areas ranging from false allegations of child abuse, psychiatric and medical malpractice, to serious personal injury, complex business disputes, and complicated trust and estate litigation.

However far removed from each other these subjects may seem to be, they have in common the application of a deep understanding of the subject matter and the ability present the client's case in an adversary setting. We have handled cases in twenty two different States as of this writing and have consulted on cases throughout the nation.

I have a bachelor of arts with concentrations in chemistry, English literature, and philosophy. I have always appreciated both the demands of science and the liberal arts approach to learning. My education attempts to reflect the mandate of my favorite philosopher Aristotle, who believed that we have an ethical duty to realize our full potential.
Our most significant cases are the ones that you have never heard of. They did not make the news, no one went to jail, and no one was financially devastated. These are the cases that we have been able to stop short of filing or prosecution. These are the cases that never proceeded. Perhaps they ended at the investigation phase, or we were able to convince the State not to bring them.
Much of what I say here may run counter to traditional legal advice and perhaps what many other attorneys may believe. That does not concern me. What does concern me is that I explain to you how and why I practice law that way that I do. The practice of law is an honor and a privilege and never more so than when defending the innocent.
We have defended against false allegations of child sexual abuse for over 20 years. We have defended the falsely accused in criminal, family, and juvenile courts in states across the country. The defense of false accusations involves many interrelated subjects, each of which should be familiar to the practitioner.
We have handled cases of alleged Shaken Baby Syndrome starting in 1992, giving us some 16 years experience as of this writing. Our first case involved a one year old who had a seizure and upon examination was found to have both old and new subdural hematomas along with retinal hemorrhages.

Our clients were British citizens and we retained a radiologist from England who persuaded us that this child likely had a spontaneous subdural earlier and a second spontaneous subdural superimposed upon the first. We were able to have the case removed from our courts and transferred to England where a speedy reunification of the child with the family was arranged.
