Services
Our school is based on a "small community" school philosophy. Our philosophy includes the belief that each student, even if they have not been successful in a traditional school setting, will make significant progress with us. This progress will be led by one caring individual who helps them in academic, as well as, non-academic areas of their lives.
Wolf Creek, though a small part of my everyday life has given me the opportunity to learn who I am, show who I am, make connections, have experiences in this world, spend my time how I wish, all while learning on my own curve, with a close learning manager who is there for me and willing to help me whenever I need it.
If on the waiting list (see notations below) student follows waiting list procedures until they are accepted. Once accepted, student has 7 calendar days to reply and accept position at Wolf Creek and return paperwork. If student does not return paperwork in the allotted amount of time the student loses their position at Wolf Creek.
Under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), the district or charter - in partnership with stakeholders (including principals and other school leaders, teachers, and parents) - must locally develop and implement a school improvement plan for the school to improve student outcomes. Wolf Creek has been identified under the Federal ESSA guidelines as a school in need of comprehensive support and improvement.
