I have been to Jones Pond twice. Both times were wonderful. I am in my 30's and I came alone my second time. I tent camped in the 500's and then the 600's as I prefer to be in the trees, but there are more open, communal, field tenting sites with water, fire pits and electrical. I enjoyed being able to charge my devices while still enjoying the woods.
Everyone from he staff to the guests were insanely nice to be around. I brought my dog (who is trained and obedient/does not bark) and had no problems enjoying the property with him by my side (not in the pool or the restaurant).

Had a good experience for bear weekend, however if you are looking for a more genuine camping experience I would not recommend staying in the 200s.

Weekend events are fun. The people are so friendly and really make the place what it is. Currently, during the COVID pandemic, they are doing their best to keep things enjoyable while still following medical guidance on distancing, masks, etc.

I have been a camper at Jones Pond for multiple summers. The campground is stellar, the bathrooms are clean (with running water, showers, the whole nine yards) and the activities they plan are SUPERB including dances, Bingo, and so much more. I love that the space is clothing optional (I always opt for full nudity to embrace my inner nudist) and that everyone can feel comfortable wearing as little or as much as they wish. The pool is a great communal space to connect as is the various small gatherings that are hosted by individual campsites (some officially and some unofficially). The guys who

What an incredibly camp ground. Very very clean, great bathing facilities, friendly staff, great pool, shed freedom to roam around naked. Tenting area is very nice situated under a hemlock canopy. If you like to camp naked you had better go to the pond.

This was our first visit to Jones Pond. The staff and owners were super friendly and helpful. The crowd is also very friendly and fun - lots of positive energy, and a strong sense of community at this campground. Facilities are very clean and placed conveniently. The pool, barn and cafe are close to the entrance to the campground. Cafe serves delicious food and is very well priced.
They are a BYOB campground since the state of NY doesn’t allow campgrounds to hold liquor licenses. You can bring alcohol anywhere within the campground - no glass at the pool or barn.
A nice perk is that they accept

The campground itself is great.

There are some amenities that could be updated better, like the bathroom maintenance. Which the owners Matt and Bryan are constantly working on improving. Be sure to offer suggestions, they are open to hearing them.

The cabins are great! We've never stayed in the bunkhouse because of the small space. Great for a group of friends.

The community is amazing both seasonals and campers. You can have a lot of fun there. This was our backyard to hang with our friends.

The owners Bryan and Matt have been doing a lot to improve the campgrounds.
