They have a ton of outdoor seating, mostly shaded. You can order tastings, glasses, and appetizer trays with meat, cheese, raisens, cashews, chocolate, and crackers. The wines were overall really good but not outstanding. I ended up buying 2 bottles out of 6 tasted.

Very friendly staff and great wines. We did the 5 tastings for $7 and took home a bottle and a cute garden flag from their store. Nice day to sit out on the patio.

This winery is nice and close to South Haven, which is a plus! Their patio is amazing! So nice, tons of seating, spacious and well kept. The wine was good. I didn't get a chance to try the charcuterie plate they offered. They had some nice retail items inside as well. I wish they poured slightly more in the tasting glasses. It was so minuscule it was almost hard to tell what it tasted like. Could be we got a bad batch. Also, I think it's covid, maybe? But the disposable cups on the tray made for a really hard walk to the table. The wind would blow them around and it was super slippery

Very nice winery. Deb was great at breaking down the wines. Sat fo their patio with a wonderful view of the winery. She periodically checked on us to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

We were greeted at this vineyard by a warm and friendly woman. We enjoyed talking about the history of the vineyard and her wine suggestions. They were very accommodating to our needs-they even turned on the outside heater for us! The vineyard is beautiful and the drive to the actual tasting building is so scenic! We are from out of state and felt right at home at this vineyard!

The staff at this winery was so incredibly nice. They were joking with us and wished my friend a happy birthday every single time that she came into the building. They had good Covid rules and I felt safe being there. I walked away with six bottles of wine because I loved it so much!!

Wonderful winery with a good variety of reds and whites! All wine is from grapes grown in Michigan! Bought three bottles for the holidays! Talked to the owner who said it was land from his grandfather that made up the vineyard!

They practice solid social distancing with the outside tables spaced apart, the staff wearing masks and a requirement for customers to wear masks inside. They are both dog and kid friendly (just keep the dog on leash) and brought our dog water. They have light snacks to accompany the wine flights. The reds are very solid and have depth. The dry whites were good, but some better than others. The rose is really good. The bottle prices are reasonable.

This place is really beautiful and it allows dogs. They have a wide selection of wines and anyone can find something they like. I went with my boyfriend who likes dry wines, and I like sweet wines. We were both able to find 2-3 wines we really enjoyed. The outdoor seating was really nice but could've used some fans or more umbrellas. This is a great place to go but pick a time or day that isn't too hot.

Best vineyard we visited on the wine trail! Tastings were cheap and they offered food, plus you can bring in your own food. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Plus, the wine was amazing. We will definitely come back again.

Nice secluded vineyard. Tasting room was very nice and their outdoor patio was a great place to have a drink. Tastings were 5 dollars for 5 wines and glasses ranged from 4 to 10 dollars. There was also available a number of small plate appetizers.

I planned a bachelorette party and we went here for a wine tasting- it was great! Thank you to Jack, the owner, and his wife! They hosted the tasting and it was free for the bride, which is adorable. They were able to accommodate for 17 of us, although only 14 of us ended up showing. After the tasting, we sat on the gorgeous patio and he was more than willing to get a photo of us together. each of us bought at least 2 bottles to bring home. I highly recommend stopping here and sitting on the patio! I hope to be back sometime. Thanks again!

This is my favorite winery in southwest Michigan by far! Stopped here on a quiet Thursday afternoon and spent some time relaxing on their lovely patio. The people here are not only very knowledgeable but incredibly friendly. Wine was excellent as well and very reasonably priced. Will be back!

Stopped here while road tripping through Michigan; we almost drove right past it as GPS isn't clear. You have to drive down the path a bit in order to get to the building. Drive is nice- vineyard is beautiful.

Parking isn't conventional; park where you can. Employees were very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine. We were immediately greeted and started our tasting.

Tastings are $5 for 5 selections so between my husband and myself we tried everything they had to offer (except for the super sweet ones). The patio in the back looks like the perfect place to put your feet up and

Watch out for the wild turkeys, just kidding they won't bother you but they're fun to watch from the patio overlooking the vineyard. Very relaxing spot with some really nice choices. I was especially impressed with how accurate the descriptions of the different wines and ciders were. Well run and worth the trip.

We have stopped by twice this season and both times have thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The ladies pouring the wine are some of the friendliest people around. They had us laughing and enjoying the difference between the wines we chose. We ended up buying a couple of bottles of wine and will definitely make a return run to South Haven to enjoy another fun Sunday afternoon.

Cogdal Vineyards is very beautiful, but I have to be honest I didn't like even one of the wines and we tried SEVEN. We wanted to stay and enjoy the atmosphere but I didn't think any of them were worth buying a glass or bottle of. I am used to sweet wines being from Ohio, but these were not very balanced and cloyingly sweet even the "dry" ones.

This is not to discourage you from coming here. The tasting room is beautiful and the outdoor patio is divine. It overlooks the vineyard and it's great for groups and relaxing along the wine trail.
