It took 50 minutes for HLB to make 3 pancakes, a hot chicken Benedict and biscuits & gravy. Our lukewarm pancakes arrived 10 minutes before the rest of the meal. After 5 minutes of attempting to enjoy our pancakes, I had to ask the kitchen where the rest of the food was. I waited another 5 minutes for an individual to bring our cold food to the table. It looks like someone left the food sitting in the back for at least 15 min minutes. We left with $50 less and unsatisfied stomachs. This was the second time I have witnessed terrible service at HLB. I will no longer be paying a ridiculous amount

The ambiance was cute and homey and the food was delicious! It was worth the long line and half-hour wait on a busy Saturday morning. I recommend ordering online if you don’t want to wait.
I ordered three biscuit sandwiches and coffees to go. The biscuits were DELICIOUS! So flakey and tasty. We got the Monte Cristo, the chicken biscuit, and the bacon egg and cheese. All three were great! We were stuck at the gas station with a flat tire, and I’m so glad this spot was within walking distance. If I hadn’t been eating on-the-go, I would have ordered the bananas foster pancakes. Those looked

Today was my wife’s and I first time going to the Hillcrest Little Bakery and it was amazing. The food was great and they made it fast even though they had a few customers ahead of us. They have great customer service with a smile. We are definitely going to go back and try some more food from the menu.
