Since 1994, Planning For Seniors, LLC has helped families fund long term care expenses while maintaining their financial assets. There is no need to deplete your family's assets in order to meet Medi-Cal resource guidelines. What we find is many people are confused about just how much money or financial resources they are allowed to have, and still qualify for Medi-Cal benefits.

Why are more people not qualifying for Medi-Cal benefits if it is as simple as you suggest?. Medi-Cal is California's version of the Federal Medicaid Program. A portion of our California income taxes and our Federal income taxes have been funding the Medicaid/Medi-Cal Program since 1966. Medi-Cal is a needs-based, means-tested Entitlement Program that is funded by our Federal and State tax dollars.

Deborah Christensen short saved my mental well Being by helping me take care of my father who lived to be 99. Wonderful service Deborah and staff provide. They do charge a fee but well worth it!! They helped get my grandma on medi-cal and then the state program that provided in home care. They help with strategy to save grandma's house from medi-Cals collection efforts after her passing. These folks are experts in the well deserved public service that are available but not publicized. These folks are honest too and you can trust them like our family did. I can't say enough of how they helped get the services for our grandma in her final years and gave us peace of mind that medical and care
