Services
From our founding in 2005, we have always worked to be more than an average builder. Our focus on renovating rather than building new has lead us to seek out high quality products and innovative solutions for our clients. Below are some of the products and innovations that give us our motto. While getting the right color, pattern and layout for your tile is important, how the tile is laid is equally as important.
AJH Renovations, LLC, is a member of Greenville's HBA and a Better Business Bureau Accredited Business. The Upstate company has been family owned and operated by son and father team, Ariel and Chuck Hartman since its inception in 2005. Ariel Hartman (Managing Director): Love of construction came early to Ariel.
The initial site visit is over, the detailed design is done, and the contract has been signed. The next phase is to begin breaking ground, but even more is involved. What can you expect from AJH Renovations as the project moves forward? We recognize that communication in all phases is key to a pleasant experience and a finished product that matches the homeowner's dreams.
Homeowners are frequently counseled to 'get at least three bids' when they are considering hiring a contractor for home improvements. The goal, of course, is to get the best price for the work. But a competitive bid situation is not always the best route to take. When should you get multiple proposals, and when should you narrow your search to just one contractor?

We recently reached out to several companies in the Greenville area for quotes on a renovation/addition to our older home. Chuck from AJH was responsive, professional, and gave us a very extensive work plan and cost estimate. Other companies charged upfront for a consultation and provided an inferior proposal. We ended up not moving forward with the project due to the current cost of building materials, so I can't comment on the build process, but I would highly recommend requesting a proposal from AJH if you're in the market for a renovation/addition.

We used AJH to renovate our home and they did an extensive rebuild - entirely gutting the inside, new framing of downstairs and building a second level, etc.
Emily was really great to work with on the design side. No complaints there at all!
On the project management/construction/finance side, we were met multiple times with very rude and unprofessional emails from the owner when things didn't go as he wished. I was not impressed with their customer interaction at all.
On the construction side, they did an OK job. However, there were multiple immediate issues. I paid to have some subfloor repair
