NUCCA is an advanced Chiropractic technique that focuses on your upper cervical. We utilize x-rays to determine the exact degree of adjustment needed and then make very gentle, precise corrections to fix the alignment.
Once the body is corrected, pressure is released from the spinal cord and the central nervous system. The body then begins the innate process of healing. After graduating from University of Kansas in 2004 with a degree in psychology where I studied as a pre-med student, I drove to the bay area to earn my doctorate degree at Life Chiropractic College West. After graduating with honors in 2008 I received extended training in a specialized Chiropractic technique called NUCCA (National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association).

We are out of network with health insurance companies. Although your specific benefit plan will determine the amount of coverage or treatment that your insurance will cover with out of network providers. We can provide a detailed billing statement that you may send in to your insurance company for reimbursement depending on your benefits.
Your upper neck greatly impacts the rest of your posture, spine, your nervous system, muscles, and how your entire body functions. The NUCCA procedure influences body balance, the brain stem, and the central nervous system. Varying conditions and problems will arise when your nervous system is compromised.
Interview and health history with Dr. Grandfield followed by a spinal examination and postural analysis. If a spinal misalignment is confirmed then xrays may be taken at this first visit (xrays are additional cost). Precise and specific views of your upper cervical misalignment to determine the most accurate adjustment.

I have faced tinnitus ever since a moterbike accident and went to so many doctors and ent specialists but it did no good. Finally I came across live well spinal care and dr. Traci and invested 8 weeks of my time in her practice and I finally started to gain relief and it became a lot better. It’s not a one step process but made me believe that there is hope when I had given up on it and I would wanna continue visiting not just to help with my issue but for my overall health. Traci is a wonderful chiropractor who is smart and knowledgeable. She is very patient and tries to be as flexible as possible to accommodate life schedules. She truly cares for her patients and their outcomes.
