Mr. Butler holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Cincinnati. Tom joined Monarch in 1980, serving as Project Engineer, Project Manager, Vice President, and President prior to taking on the responsibility as CEO. Marty joined Monarch in 1993 serving as Project Engineer, Project Manager, Estimator, and Vice President of Estimating prior to taking on the role of President.

We have a deep commitment to providing a safe and productive work environment for all of our employees and our subcontractors' employees. This commitment requires us to expend a great deal of effort towards proactively managing and planning job site safety rather than reactively policing job site safety.
In early 2014, Monarch Construction Company began its Lean Transformation through extensive research and study related to Lean principles and theories already prevalent throughout the manufacturing industry.
After a great deal of learning it was determined that the application of Lean principles and theories, and specifically the implementation of the Last Planner System would enable our Project Teams to deliver completed projects SAFER, FASTER, and BETTER than previously experienced.This resulted in a companywide mandate that all new projects will be managed using the Last Planner System from project inception to project completion.

Prior to preparing your first Application for Payment, submit a Schedule of Values, showing a detailed breakdown of the work, to our Project Manager for review and approval. A pencil copy of each monthly Application for Payment must be approved by our project manager prior to mailing the original to our office.
