I had a mechanical issue occur last week making my New Holland unusable right after a snow storm. Not only was it unusable it was not moveable due to what broke and the unit blocked my driveway. I called Progressive Tractor in Bristol VA knowing they couldn't come up right away due to the snow. After waiting a few days letting the state clear some of the roads Jim the service manager scheduled 2 of his folks to come out and get my tractor. Snow and ice still completely covered the roads close to my house due to our elevation but Jim's guys fought through it and successfully got the tractor off

Absolutely the worst customer service in the parts department, the lady acts like I'm interrupting her day. Not friendly at all. Asks what part I need, I say wouldn't you like to know what I'm working on? No, so I give her the part number "wait, what tractor are you working on"? Exactly. Then gives me a price much higher than the price on the internet. Notorious for not calling you when the parts arrive but want you to pay full price over the phone so you have no proof of any transaction other than your bank statement. We'll, we don't remember ordering that.

Purchased a Scag Cheetah mower at the end of May. Tried three times to mow with it but my lawn was just too steep to be able to use it safely. After reading the Google reviews of Progressive Tractor and especially the negative reviews and Mr. Owen's sincerity in replying to these negative reviews and attempting to make things right with the customer.
I decided to give him a call and explain my situation. Upon hearing my problem he suggested I come in and look at on of their sub-compact tractors, that one of those would be more suited to my terrain. Went next day and looked at Mahindra Emax 20

These folks do a good job with their product lines. Most of my business at progressive tractor is with their stihl products. I have purchased two string trimmers, one hedge trimmer, a steel leaf blower, in a steel chainsaw.
This particular visit I was looking for a walk behind mower. They had one but only one. I felt like it was at top dollar at $5,599.
I decided to check out the competition so I went to i-81 mower shop with exit 5.
They also just had one Walk behind professional grade mower. Their price was $500 higher than progressive tractor. That really surprised me.
