Services
My law firm will personalize elder law legal planning to address your lifestyle, age and vision for your future. As your elder law attorney, we ask: Where do you want to age? What financial resources and income do you own or need to make your plan possible? And, what legal documents are essential to implement your plan for aging according to your wishes?
Provide future financial security and asset management for a disabled family member with a Special Needs Trust (SNT), whether your child or other adult in your family is diagnosed with a developmental disability, intellectual disability, traumatic brain injury, mental health illness, or chronic illness such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's disease.
For more than 20 years I have litigated difficult court disputes between contentious family members in Article 81 guardianship proceedings, 17A guardianship proceedings for an intellectually disabled adult, and outside the court arena, in elder law. I have reached the conclusion that Mediation is a better approach to settling legal and family disputes than resorting to costly and emotionally devastating litigation.
Getting organized at any age or stage of your life can help you focus on what you've achieved so you can plan your next goals and facilitate your estate planning. And, importantly, it is a practical way to gather information for the people who will need it if you become ill, incapacitated or after your death.

My wife and I have worked with Beth as our elder care lawyer for a man for whom we have been responsible since 2004. Beth has been outstanding as a lawyer. If there was a rating above excellent, we would give it. She is professional and personal at the same time. She is genuinely concerned for her clients. Her counsel is right to the point, and very helpful. She is also accessible, despite her busy schedule. I cannot recommend her too highly.
