Dr. Claiborne was born in Landstuhl, West Germany while his parents were stationed at Ramstein AFB. Dr. Claiborne graduated from Tabb High School in Yorktown, Virginia in 1993 and received his undergraduate degree from Salisbury State University in 1997.
After earning his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 2003, Dr. Claiborne completed a two-year general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia.During this time, he received extensive training and supervision in all aspects of dental implant treatment.

Brandi graduated from the Virginia Western Dental Hygiene program in 2017 before joining our practice. What she enjoys most about her job is being a part of the Forest Smiles team working together to best serve our patients. In her spare time, she loves magnet fishing, painting and crafting. Christine graduated from the Virginia Western Dental Hygiene program in 2012 before she started working with Dr. Claiborne.

I've had the same health insurance company since I was 18 y/o (I'm 60 y/o now) and there's never been any error with my insurance being contacted by a doctor's office for payment, until my last (and final) appointment. Demi, who handles billing, was unprofessional and made snide and untrue comments to me. If Dr. Claiborne wants to contact me, I will give him all of the details.

I cant say enough good about Dr. Claiborne. I'm currently going thru a full mouth dental implant restoration. I had a bad phobia about going to the dentist before meeting him. He and his assistant Keksie have been the most compassionate, caring and patient people I have ever had to deal with! My comfort is always their main concern and dr Claiborne is such a perfectionist when it comes to you looking your best! I've had dentures for about 6 years and have hated every minute of it. I have completed my lower implants and am ready to start on the top. I went today to pick up my top denture that I

I recently had a root canal and crown done by Dr. Claiborne.
I was very pleased with the work I had done. Dr Claiborne and his staff have always been pleasant and make me feel welcome and relaxed.
I used to be nervous going to the dentist but I am comfortable when I come here for a visit.

If I could give this dental office lower than 1 star I would. I honestly loved the dental hygienists, however the financial department and dentist have done several shady things. Without my permission they added fillings to my mouth that were not covered by my insurance. The office checks your insurance and makes you pay prior to the procedure. They "checked" my insurance and told me it would cost $80 to get the fillings, which I was fine with and paid. A month later I received a bill for over $200 more because they had never checked with my insurance and the cosmetic fillings they placed
