We had the pastrami and roast beef sandwiches. They were really good! Got the macaroni and potato salads. Excellent house made salads. I would like to try the Teton and Turkey pesto sandwiches next time we go!

A GEM. We were basically lost (I won't bother explaining) and ended up in Rupert and thought, "Hey, we're in Idaho, we should have potato salad!" So E Street Deli popped up on our phones and what a pleasant surprise. Located on the historic main square, it not only had food and a ton of free trade coffee drinks ("Are we in SF?") it had a lot of fun gifts such as jewelry, soap, purses, lotions, games. We split an egg salad and avocado sandwich, which was great - the bread was delicious (home made), and of course potato salad. I also had a steamed milk with honey and

Unbelievable. What a magnificent establishment! I almost have no words to describe how wonderful this place is. The menu is great, the prices are very reasonable, you can tell that everyone who works here absolutely cares about what they do. Truly an unexpected gem!! Initially, I got the smoked salmon toast with red onions and capers, and it was marvelous! But I couldn't leave without ordering a pastrami sandwich with the purple coleslaw to go, because well, I will need dinner!
Plus, they have a wonderful selection of on tap beers, and don't forget to check out the beverage cooler in

5-star cafe on a quaint square in Rupert. We were just passing through for a quick bite and had low expectations. Instead we found fresh, healthy, delicious food (we had the Summer salad and the Cobb) . There were lots of choices, their lattes were spot on with rich flavor and the owners were just delightful. What a find!! Definitely worth the stop!

Our party of three all enjoyed their food immensely. We ordered the brisket and the spicy Italian sandwiches, and Cobb salad. Lots of meat, which is high quality nitrate free good stuff, not the usual highly processed stuff! The owner aims high and hits the mark with his food and ingredients! Welcoming atmosphere. All around worth getting off the highway for a delicious and quick healthy meal. Only thing that could be improved is homemade sides offered rather than bag of chips.

Great lunch stop. Attentive staff, great food and food quality. Only down side for me was that there wasn't a mask in sight (neither other customers nor food preparers) - I realize it's a choice in this state but it seems like a safety protocol that would be adopted due to the rising COVID cases in the area.

My husband and I ate here twice over the last few weeks. We were on a road trip to another part of Idaho. It's hard to find great food around these parts, but we were very impressed with E Street Deli. We are very covid sensitive, while masks weren't worn here by the staff (we wore masks), they had easy to go/pick up orders, and hand sanitizer readily available. We will definitely be back! We recommend the spicy Italian, avocado toast & breakfast burrito (although not sure if b burrito is always available!) Call ahead!

We stopped here on a road trip. It was a bit out of the way but worth it! The food was good and everyone was really nice. It is right across from a nice town square so you can walk around and stretch your legs too.

This is THE SPOT. So glad we wandered far enough off the expressway to get these super legit sandwiches. Very unexpected treat! Love the town, owner was nice, a couple local beers available, and the Spicy Italian was excellent. Nice open space with local crafts/ products shop as well.

So dang good. This was such a great find! The deli is super cute, crisp and clean with a super cute gift shop inside.
The food was great! I would love to see them add more vegan options since it's a restaurant that vegans would especially love! But the veggie sandwich was amazing, with fresh pesto and hummus giving it incredible flavor. The summer salad was good too.
One of our friends got the Cobb salad and really loved it.
The little downtown is super cute, it kind of reminded us of the city center in Back to the Future, super charming!! It's well worth the drive off the freeway to

Just about 10 mins off of the freeway, this little gem in the heart of the downtown is a must for lunch. They have an extensive menu to chose from, so we decided to do a wrap so that we have a lighter lunch option. Slice of pickle and Lays potato chips rounds out the meal. The staff were friendly and the restrooms were clean. A good spot to stretch your legs and fill your tummy!
