One of the most important and difficult decisions you will ever make is hiring the right contractor to build your new home. Rightfully so, builders in general have earned bad reputations. Unfinished jobs, phone calls and emails not returned, shoddy work, and a general lack of professionalism. At Lords Valley Builders, here in the heart of Pike County, Pennsylvania, we have been building dream homes for 25 years.
And we are very proud of our hard-working team of framers, master carpenters, and electricians. We've been together for decades, and we have never abandoned or no-showed a project. Owner Glenn Strys lives in Lords Valley and is on each job-site daily. Our office is not a van. We've been in the same building on Route 739 since 1994, and are always just a phone call or an email away.

And for 25 years we have been building homes, and making dreams come true in beautiful Lords Valley, Pennsylvania. Located just 90 minutes from the George Washington Bridge, Lords Valley beckons. Offering a true escape from the never-ending hustle of the city, nature surrounds you throughout the year.
While we often discuss homebuilding, at Lords Valley Builders, we help existing home owners make their dreams come true too! We are available for kitchen re-design, layout, and installation, deck building, as well as bathroom updating, including glass-showers, as well as custom tiling. We are ecstatic owners of a most-lovely "Country Farm House."
We understand that building a new home, or adding on to your existing home, is a significant decision. Hiring the wrong contractor can lead to an almost never-ending nightmare. Therefore, we invite you to visit our offices, review our decades of work, and speak to our clients before making any commitments.
But to us, the details are simply part of the job that we've been doing for over 25 years. While many builders often leave the little stuff behind, and move onto the next job, we build houses like we are building them to live in our self. Therefore, the small items that when added together make a house transition into a home, are never ignored.
