Every property has its history of ownership, slope nuances, and unique characteristics.
There are more than 29 million dead or dying trees in Northern California, due to bark beetles. Because of the years-long drought, trees (especially ponderosa and sugar pine) have been unable to defend themselves from the destructive bark beetles. Many agencies are working to remove dead trees so that they don't pose a risk for fire, falling, etc.
Linen service is now included with all reservations! We provide sheets for each bed and a towel set for each person (1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 1 wash cloth). We just returned from our annual vacation in Arnold and I realized I have never done a review for Cedar Creek Realty. I honestly don't know how many rentals we've done with them - perhaps 15 or more? I have always had very good experiences with their Property Managerment. It's kinda of nice to be remembered but it's really nice for a company to have your back when your renting through them. Some of the cabins have been awesome and some have been not so awesome, but always clean and always as described. I have found them very receptive, clear about terms and accommodating

Above it all !!! Good accomodations and big house for a big group. 2draw backs. TV doesn't have cable. Netflix and YouTube connection is available. Major problem is that the home doesn't have any AC. There are no fans in any of the bedrooms. House fan vents don't work at all. Downstairs vents at least work. Upstairs vents don't work. We stayed here when the temperatures were in 100°.Had a really hard time falling sleep.Only saving grace was the propertyanagement provided us with fans for all rooms.

Cedar Creek quite literally saved our vacation. After an upsetting Airbnb experience resulting in us unexpectedly being forced to vacate our lodging (apparently the owners weren't aware it was being rented out by the hosting agency!) I found Cedar Creek online and reached out to them directly via phone to see if they had any properties immediately available in the area. The woman working with me took time to look through all of her properties with me on the phone and find one which worked for our timeline, our family size, and our budget. We have rented homes through Cedar Creek Realty for years. They are a top-notch rental group, and we are grateful for their friendly, helpful staff and detail-oriented procedures. I booked a home in Arnold for our family vacation and a month later, I receive an e-mail stating that "due to unforeseen circumstances" the booking is cancelled. Cedar Creek referred us to a new home which was way further than what we wanted. When I decided not to take the referral home, they begged me to give them a chance to find another home, claiming that they were "onboarding" about 100 homes. The lady promised to make my reservation a priority and would get back to me. I waited a month with no communication, all the while stressing about our family vacation. In the meantime, they charged

The poorest customer service I have experienced from a rental agency ever.
To keep a long story short, we were snowed in without electricity in one of their VRBO properties(on a weekend when heavy snow was expected) which did not even have a flashlight, lantern at our disposal. We called the reported 24 hour assistance line and the man who answered said he did not know this property and couldn't help. We did not receive help for over 24 hours. At no time during our stay or after was there ever an apology, a condolence or a maybe we could have handled that better. Instead the response

I was looking for a home for my mom so she could retire in California from Arizona. Kelley was so pleasant to work with and really took time out to show me around Arnold and educate me on mountain living. Pretty much unimpressed. We rented Bears Bungalow (AWESOME HOUSE, this review is NOT about the property) for a week. Whole thing got off to a bad start with Krystal over incomplete, unclear explanation of fees and charges on the contract. She was impatient and rude.
Then, we called to ask about dogs when our dog sitter cancelled at the last minute. Not sure who we spoke to. We KNEW the property had a "no pet" policy, but we were asking if they would check with the owner for a possible exception. It took three days for someone to get back to us. Too long.

Watch out for this company. They will rent you a dirty, old filthy place and charge you top dollar. When they say they will send someone to do the repairs do not believe it. They just take everyone's money and never put a penny back in to the property. The deck was in terrible disrepair along with a dozen other issues. Will never use them again. Do they not understand the internet? That word will get out? We live locally. Do they not know about word of mouth?

Me and 17 friends did a girls trip. Stayed right across from the lake and had a blast. Laughing, talking and sharing precious memories for ever. The house was super clean and had everything we needed, even some games. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and beautiful weather. It was close to a grocery store. We all enjoyed our stay and will be returning. Awesome experience.

We started off by renting a cabin from Cedar Creek a few summers back, and then ended up deciding to purchase a family cabin last Spring. Every step of the way with them has been pleasant and well-informed, and we've appreciated the professionalism and knowledge of the area provided by Kelley (our realtor). Customer service has also been fantastic - they are always at the ready with recommendations for service providers (from plumbers to painters to tree removers to general handymen), and have done us multiple favors when we've needed them to go and check on something at the cabin.

I would rather give this company a negative star review at the moment. They have lied to my family and I for the last hour. We rented this cabin months ago for a family vacation, the advertisement said the cabin would have air conditioning on both the Cedar Creek web-site and the VRBO listing of this home. When my parents arrived they told me the house was hot - so I looked both sites up on my computer. You will see the advertisement including the line about air conditioning on their Yelp page - within 20 minutes of my parents calling the verbiage about the air conditioning was cut from the VRBO

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. They totally got the dates wrong when we made our reservation. We showed up to the cabin we rented late in the evening. We were exhausted . We went to bed to only find hair on the pillows and linens. Disgusting. Every bed in the house was gross. Urine on the toilet seat. This place had not been cleaned before our arrival. I also have a friend who has a cabin in tbe area who had to fire them due to the same issues. Do NOT list your property with them. My friend has had multiple issues with them!!!

We used Cedar Creek to book at cabin in Blue Lake Springs. They were easy to work with and answered every question I had. The house was in good condition and we enjoyed our stay there. The reason they did not get 5 stars is because they claimed the house had movies and Wii Games when in actuality it had one or two of each. There was also only one roll of
Toilet paper in each restroom and and half of a paper towel roll for 6 people who were staying 6 days. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and plan on returning in the future.
