The ancient art of Hawaiian Lomilomi massage has been practiced throughout the Pacific for thousands of years. Called by several other names such as: Polole Lomi, "the gentle hand of the mother", Oluea Lomi "to harmonize body, mind and spirit" and Oluli Lomi "ignite the life force." The history is very scant.
In this class you will learn the foundation and ro0utine of level one lomilomi massage, including introduction to the Hawaiian philosophy. It's highly advisable that you have a session with me so you can feel what the advance Lomilomi massage has in store. Plus, I combine Energy Kinesiology with every Lomilomi massage I do.

I have been working with Swami for five years now and when I am on Island my weekly massage is truly one of the highlights of my week. I leave every session feeling fantastic, grounded and my experience of integrated movement is renewed. The kinesiology work is always powerful and Swami’s wisdom and skills can be felt through her extraordinary touch.

Swami always gives a very healing experience. I was especially "locked up" when I went to her yesterday, feeling tired and sluggish and mopey.
She did Lomilomi and balancing and today I feel bright, balanced, energetic, and ready to go!
I love Swami's set up too--a peaceful room, a WONDERFUL table, and a tiny tropical breeze wafting in through the window, over the banana tree leaves. Mahalo nui loa, Swami!
