Services
Oxford Primary Care & Weight Loss Center is an adult disease management and treatment center for a wide variety of your primary care needs including, but not limited to Asthma, Anemia, Arthritis, COPD, cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, migraine management, etc. We are able to provide our primary care patients with sports and employment physicals.
Oxford Primary Care & Weight Loss Center can be reached during normal business hours by phone. If you have a medical emergency, please dial 911. I can honestly say that I love this office. Not only is the staff wonderful but the NP is amazing. The medical assistants are thorough and friendly. I’ve never had to wait for very long in the office. They even call to check up on you when you are sick. The weight loss counseling is very informative. If I don’t understand a diagnosis they always break it down so that I understand what is going on with my body.

They get one star for the staff beong courteous at previous appointments. I have been an established general practice patient for more then 4 years. When I had an urgent need to reschedule an appointment they would not return my calls and then said the next appointment was 2-3 months out and they would not refill my blood pressure and blood sugar medicine in the interim. Since my health is dependent on those medications I was forced to seek out a new doctor's office.
They may treat weight loss patients better but I would not recommend for general practice needs.

It is a great place to go to. It is the only place I will go to. For many years I could not get my blood pressure under control after seeing so many different drs until I came to Oxford Primary Care and Weight Loss and now I have it under control thanks to to Kanina Crosen. Also her staff is amazing.

Ms. Crosen and her staff are absolutely wonderful! The nurses and other staff members are always kind and attentive. They really listen to what you have to say and help you.
I’ve always avoided doctors like the plague but now if I’m having any problems I don’t feel like putting it off as much. I know I’ll be seen as quickly as possible and I won’t be treated like a number.

Dr. Kanina has been my physician for over a year now and I couldn't ever say a bad word about her or her staff. I love them so much that I started taking my mother to her. She has gotten my mother's health back better than it has been in years! I am so thankful to have found a caring and compassionate physician for me and my family.

This clinic goes out of their way to make things convienent for the patient. The staff is always very nice and helpful. They are very efficient in making the best of your time. I recently had to Covid test which was setup very conviently and was done in a matter of minutes. This same process took three and a half hours to complete at another location. Thank you Oxford Primary Health Care and Weight Loss Center Team!

I LOVE the staff here. They are so sweet, friendly, & attentive. I've been going here on & off for about 2-3 years. Wouldn't go anywhere else. I began going to Oxford Primary Care & Weight Loss Center several years ago for weight loss. I was so impressed with Kanina, Tiffany, Kayla & the entire staff that I made the switch from my local Jacksonville Primary Care Doctor to Oxford Primary Care for all of my medical needs. Not only has Kanina taken great care of my (and my husband's) health, but she is genuine. Not stuffy, not "holier than thou", not rushed. She's the real deal. It’s rare to find a health care provider that combines such personal touches for a patient as a person with outstanding quality medical care. I highly recommend
