Alabama BCIA's mission is to promote, educate and facilitate the use of performance data, record keeping and marketing opportunities and to provide a leadership role to improve the Alabama cattle industry. Performance beef cattle record keeping is a tool to document and analyze precise information to advance herd management.

A sanctioned heifer sale held annually at the Alabama Livestock Auction in Uniontown to market bred and open heifers. A non-profit charitable foundation whose mission is to educate and facilitate the utilization of performance principles for the beef cattle industry.
Services
Alabama BCIA is a non-profit organization of persons, firms, partnerships and corporations in Alabama who are engaged in the production and marketing of seedstock or commercial beef cattle. BCIA was formed in 1964 and cooperates with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES) under a formal agreement.
As an Alabama cattle producer and member of Alabama BCIA, you are aware of the important role your organization plays in the Alabama beef industry. To move our organization and industry forward into the future, the Alabama Beef Cattle Improvement Foundation (BCIF) was formed with an initial donation.
