Such an amazing job done on alterations on my wedding dress! I have a big ball gown with a lot of fabric and she was able to take in the bust, shorten it and added a bustle in a matter of 2 weeks! Priced well and extremely good work, will 100% be returning with any alteration needs in the future!

Great care was taken in the alteration of a bridesmaid dress. Florence is very kind and knowledgeable in her trade. This was my first experience having anything altered, and it was a great one!!! I had my all lace wedding dress hemmed, straps tightened and a 5 point bustle added. She did such a fabulous job with everything. To the untrained eye you can't even tell that the bottom of my dress was cut off and reattached to make it shorter. It truly looks like I purchased the dress that length. I was at first a little apprehensive to go here since she works out of her home. However, let me tell you that should not be a concern at all to you. The lower level of her home is dedicated to alterations and is set up just as a typical business would be. She is very knowledgeable and you can tell

I was looking for someone to alter my daughter's homecoming dress and chose Florence because of her 5 star rating. I called her with a few questions because it has been 20 years since I needed this kind of service. She answered my questions and worked easily with my daughter's hectic schedule for a fitting.
She has a professional set up in her basement. She has a warm, friendly "greeter" to welcome you. She is kind, professional and friendly.
She completed my daughter's dress within 2 days and charged a fair price.
I will go back for any alterations I need in the future.

I chose to contact this tailor because of her high 5 star rating and her pleasant professional attitude on the telephone. I took 2 pairs of pants to her to see what type of environment she provided to customers. I was pleasantly surprised. Her shop is in a lovely quiet and pleasant area in Delta Twp. I found easy access parking and one on one professional customer service. I could tell at once that she was an experienced professional. Her shop is very pleasant and well appointed. She does the fitting and sewing herself so you don't have to worry about someone else handling your clothing. Florence

Florence tailored suit pants for my wedding and I could not be happier! She was extremely accommodating and was able to get me in and sized the same day I called to set up an appointment. She then had the pants done the next day. She did a fantastic job. My mom also had her dress for the wedding altered by Florence and she was equally pleased. I will be recommending Florence to all my friends and family in the Lansing area that need a good tailor.
