We are a network of interfaith volunteers committed to improving the quality of life in the homes of our elderly and disabled neighbors, as well as their caregivers. As a sponsored ministry of the Congregation of St. Joseph, we work together so that, "all may be one."

Services
Caregiver Companion is a non-profit organization in Tippecanoe County, Indiana that provides non-medical supplemental volunteer support for elderly and disabled individuals who desire to remain in their home, as well as their caregivers. We refer to all those we serve as our "neighbor" emphasizing God's love and care for our elderly and frail community members and those who need a helping hand.
Being Stephen's mom was a privilege and an honor. Stephen was unable to speak, still in diapers, and mostly bottle-fed when he died of a seizure just a couple of months shy of his seventh birthday. He taught me so much during his short life on this earth. I understand how hard it is to be a caregiver and all the difficulties of that responsibility.
We serve caregivers, as well as elderly, or physically challenged neighbors, in need of non-medical assistance to continue living in their homes. Volunteers usually assist once a week. The needs of those we serve and the number of volunteers determines the help we can give.

Caregiver Companion is a wonderful way for Purdue University, Ivy Tech, and high school seniors from the surrounding schools to get involved in the Greater Lafayette community! Whether it is for a school service project, church outreach ministry, or just a way to give back - all of our students enjoy their experience with Caregiver Companion and helping our neighbors in need.
