I know the recommended time to do a newborn session is within the first 15 days of life. However, after doing exclusively newborn sessions for 11 years, I find that doing your session after 15 days old is not an issue; as a matter of fact it sometimes goes better since I am then working with a baby that has adjusted to his/her new environment.

Gaby is absolutely magical! From the moment you arrive for the portrait session, you feel completely taken care of. She helps feed and change your baby(ies) during the photo shoot, and she even helps carry things from your car to the studio. She provides complimentary drinks and snacks, and there is a wonderful play area for older siblings with swings, slides, and a trampoline. She has a wardrobe for both moms and babies, and she provides props and beautiful settings and backdrops for the photos. I initially found Gaby Clark Photography on Yelp! so I am honored to be able to write my own review here. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Gaby! From start to finish her all inclusive process is seamless, professional, and just an all around wonderful experience. Gaby was amazing to work with. She was great at directing and guiding us considering this was our first professional shoot. My Husband and I definitely appreciated all the thought and effort she put into this shoot to make our ideas come to life. From our phone calls to meetings prior to the photoshop to make sure she took detailed notes of wardrobe ideas to what it was that we wanted to drink on the day of the shoot. If I could I would give her more stars, I would 1000% recommend her to friends and family.

Working with Gaby was a wonderful experience! Half a day of photoshoot flew by even with a newborn :) She took great care of our baby. I felt pampered and thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary make-up and hair sessions. The photos came out really beautiful. Gaby is not just amazing at what she does, she is also extremely warm and accommodating. Would definitely recommend her to family and friends!

Really had a nice experience working with Gaby. We had to unfortunately skip our first appointment with her, due to an unforeseen circumstance with our baby. She was very nice and accommodating, and was able to reschedule our photoshoot for a future date.
Her work is excellent quality, and I would say she is a top baby photographer. Upon arriving at her studio, she came out immediately to greet us. Then we did some indoor photos first, and afterwards had a few outdoor photos with baby and entire family. Gaby was also excellent in terms of communicating to us what was required before the session

I am usually not big on writing reviews but this one deserves a special mention. I collaborated with Gaby for my maternity photoshoot and mentioned to her , as part of my intro session that i am skeptical about the experience , that i am not good with photos but this rainbow baby is special and hence i am taking a plunge to create beautiful memories. Gaby put me at ease from the day we met , the consultation sessions, the tips and actual experience in the studio was beyond amazing .

Was searching for a baby photographer and happen to stumble upon Gaby. I could not go through with our original photographer as she had warn me that trying to capture photos of a 3 month old would be much more difficult and that she could not guarantee how the photos would turn out. We are so glad that happened since we were able to find Gaby Clark Photography! It worked out perfectly since she had experience working with preemie babies even quintuplets and quadruplets! We hope to work with her next year to capture a family photo with both kids and our two dogs. Pictures are worth all the time

We are very happy we chose Gaby as our photographer. She was very patient, professional, and highly skilled. We weren’t sure our 2.5 weeks old son would tolerate a half-day of picture taking, but Gaby, a mother and veteran photographer, had no problem calming him into 27 different poses and took the lead with diaper changes along the way. We also really enjoyed her studio, which was new and elegant and located at a scenic location with redwoods on the property. The studio was equipped with drinks, snacks, many wardrobe options, and a bathroom. We couldn’t be happier with the final pictures

We used Gaby for our newborn photos. Our daughter was about 3 weeks old when we took our photos, Gaby and her team did a terrific job with our session. Her studio and outside space is amazing for photos and very comfortable. Our 3 yr old had a blast exploring her outdoor space while her sister was being photographed. Great experience, highly recommend.
