Less Boat Traffic Thousands of families visit Lake George and Bolton Landing each week, so needless to say these are the two most popular areas to rent a boat.

These folks are great. We stipped here three times during our week on the lake. First, we got the registration sticker that allowed us to use our boat on the lake. The person who took care of us was super friendly and helpful. We got suggestions on where to go and what to see on the lake. Twice we stopped for gas and one of the attendents gave us a suggestion on where the kids could go rock jumping. It was a perfect spot and much closer than the place we were thinking of motoring on down to! This place will take good care of you!

This marina was perfect! We rented a boat for a full day from here. They were very professional and friendly. They kindly explained the rules of boating on Lake George and inspected the boat for damage to ensure we wouldn’t be charged for anything unnecessary. They made sure we knew how to operate everything and sent us on our way. The boat worked perfectly until we had a fuel pump issue at the end of the day so we had to cut the day about 2 hours short. This was understandable as rental boats see a lot more volume than privately owned boats. The staff at Dockside arranged for a tow for us and

I have been coming to Lake George since I was a young girl, and I have never experienced better customer service than I did at Dockside Landing Marina. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our group was comfortable boating, and had everything we needed for fun filled day on the water. I will absolutely be returning to coast along the beautiful lake of Lake George with this Marina!!! Thank you Scott for your stellar service, we will be back!

The service at Dockside is top notch. I've been storing here for a couple years; fall drop off and spring pick up are always a breeze. This summer the motor broke on a Sunday. Dockside arranged to have a mechanic come by first thing Monday morning. Well we got even better service than that. He stopped by on his way home Sunday evening, checked out the motor, did a quick thing so we could use it temporarily, ordered the part the following morning, came back & made the full repair the next morning. Two days and the boat was fixed, two house calls & the bill was incredibly reasonable. Dockside is

Everyone there has always been extremely polite, helpful, and accommodating. We've been using them for a taxi to the islands the past couple of years, and it's been great. Every time we talk with a different person, and each time they're equally nice to deal with. Nothing but good things to say about the place and the people. Thank you so much!

Definitely the best place to rent a boat in Lake George! Staff is very friendly and the customer service here is just top notch. Their boats are also probably much newer compared to most of the other rental with much better pricing!

I rarely provide reviews but great customer service needs to be recognized. Dockside Landing Marina is absolutely the best marina on Lake George. Scott and his staff are not only friendly and professional but they try to ensure that every boater enjoys their time on the water. Whether it’s re-fueling with ethanol free gas, renting a boat for the day, picking up a bag of ice or having your boat engine serviced Dockside’s is the place to go.

Amazing! Very nice and friendly staff. It was our first time out on a canoe and they answered all of our questions and made sure we were comfortable. Very reasonable prices! Way better prices than those in the more touristy area. Great selection of boats. Showed the different boats so we knew what we wanted to rent. Gave us life vests and helped us in and out of our canoes. Nice and professional business. Quiet and peaceful area. Had a great experience. Would 100% recommend!

We rented from Dockside today. We rented for a half day but they were flexible if we opted for a full day. The weather was beautiful and the kids (ages 2,5,7) had a great time. We were checking out island camping when we hit rocks and unfortunately broke our prop. We immediately called Dockside. They were so responsive and reassuring. We are lunch at Algonquin in Bolton Landing while we waited for a new prop. Turns out, it was more damage than anticipated so we had to get a tow back.
Now, you may think that this unfortunate accident would ruin our day, but it didn't. We wished we

So being on a spontaneous family trip we decided to rent a boat for the next day! No problem approximately $550 for the day so we booked it! Unfortunately we realized 5 minutes....5 MINUTES LATER.... that the place wasn't the one close to us but instead 30 minutes away! We immediately called back to cancel! The employee immediately gives us an attitude and says we need three days to cancel......ok we understand policy.... but we just called! Literally just hung up and called right back! The entitled employee then retorts that she needs to check with the manager. Employee then calls back in

This place is a disgrace to Lake George. My party rented a boat at this place a while back and we found out the hard way that it was a bait and switch. They had 2 addresses at the time, one was at the southern tip of the Lake which is where Google had them listed and their website had no references to the address of their dock - they were intentionally misleading people who wanted to rent a boat right in town.

Here's the F'd up part - we showed up in LG town 15 minutes early to find the building of their address to be closed and for sale. When we called they said we had to drive 20+

This place was amazing! We realized we booked the wrong date and they changed with no problem. The day came and when we got there, it was raining and gloomy. We asked can we change the date to tomorrow? The owner followed that by clicking a button and said done! The owner and his daughter are real class acts. The young guy that helped us with the boat was also a huge help, very professional! When we got there today they upgraded us, from their lowest price boat to the one in the picture for free! Trust me go here it is worth the 25 minute drive from the sagamore. The other reviews that

I should give no stars. I called trying to rent a boat for half a day on my daughters birthday weekend. I was told they do not make reservations for half day, I would have to call that morning. I was nervous about this, told him it was for her birthday. He assured me I would get a boat, just call first thing that day. I also confirmed the 15% discount before 9AM. Her birthday came so I called first thing. I was told they have no boats and dont even rent for half day! They rent for full day. I was so annoyed! And they never even apologized for misleading information. But it was not going to ruin

Rented two large deck/ski boats over the 4th of July weekend here. Our entire party was simply blown away by their customer service. They were so nice and so helpful we really couldn't believe it. We lost the bilge pump on one of the boats and they fixed it immediately and got us back in the water. We have rented boats in many other locations so we were expecting something else but they proved us wrong. Highly recommended!

One star is too much for this place. We wanted to buy a boat from them and were in talks with them for about two weeks and after trying to call numerous times and writing emails the manager Scott, who was the one that was helping us told us that he had sold the boat. They never told us someone else wanted it or anything like that. The best they good do is say that they feel bad. There are plenty of places on the lake that you could go to, this would not be one of them. BTW, the owner of this Marina also owns the marina in Brant Lake and another one.
