The Ballet Academy of St. Petersbsurg offers Vaganova Ballet training. We offer a program to further young dancer's education in classical ballet and performance. The mission of the Ballet Academy of St. Petersburg is to inspire, educate, and enhance the technique, artistry, and performance abilities of our dancers. Using the Vaganova style of ballet, we will provide a solid technical foundation for the developing dancer. We believe classical ballet is a foundation for all styles of dance, poise on stage, proper alignment and technique.
Pre-Ballet: Ages 3-7 Creative Dance for our youngest students. This class will allow our young dancers to discover what their bodies can do while leaning basic ballet terms and movements. One class a week is suggested. The dancers will appear in company and academy performances. Ballet 2: Aged 9-12 These dancers will expand upon their early ballet training in order to prepare for Pointe work.
Pre-Ballet: Our Minis should show up to class in an appropriate pink leotard, skirt and tights. All Students are required to wear pink ballet flat shoes. If hair is long enough, it should be put up in a bun. Ballet 1: Our Demi-Trainees should show up to class in an appropriate pink leotard, skirt and tights.
Preferred dress for girls in auditions is black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet flats and pointe shoes (If applicable). Preferred dress for boys in auditions is white shirt, black ballet pants, black ballet flats. We continue to accept new student into our program throughout the year. Please call for us to provide an audition opportunity for you to make sure we appropriately place you in a compatible dance level class.

Ms. D is both a talented dancer herself and an experienced and trained teacher. My daughter adores her beginning ballet classes and looks forward to dancing on pointe with the older students in the coming years. My favorite part of the Ballet Academy is that they perform a complete ballet annually with original choreography, beautiful costumes, props, etc. It gives the students a goal to work towards and allows them to work together to create something monumental.
