This sink trap is an innovative, inexpensive solution to messy, hard-to-use sink traps. The trap provides you with an economical solution that is easily installed and maintained. The trap is connected below the sink and collects solids in a bottle.
When the solids reach the fill line on the bottle, the excess water in trap is drained through a valve, the bottle is exchanged with a replacement bottle, the valve shut and the trap is back in service.Bottle exchange is rapid and done without the need of tools (less than 2 minutes!). Most of all, there is no mess and minimal chance of water spillage.

Services
When your Gleco Trap is properly installed, it shouldn't leak. But if it does, here are a couple of common problems and solutions. If your problem is not solved by these notes, contact us and we'll talk about your specific situation. If you are installing a brand-new O-Ring, give it a quick tug to stretch it slightly and dab a little petroleum jelly on it (or into the channel) before installing - it will fit into the channel a lot easier.
FOR POTTERS: Most ceramics and mixed-media art classrooms and studios do very well with the GT64, which allows for a sediment volume of 64 ounces. It would depend on how messy the potter is, but even the messiest potters usually wash less than a couple of ounces of clay from their hands. That translates to around 60-80 messy students washing their hands before you'd need to dump the contents of The Gleco Trap.
