Casey Quillen was born in Carson City, Nevada. She lived in Nevada, Idaho, Texas, North Carolina and Ohio before making her home in Colorado in 2002. Casey has served as a trial lawyer since completing a judicial clerkship with the Colorado Supreme Court for Justice Rebecca Kourlis.

Before forming Ruebel & Quillen, LLC, Casey practiced in the areas of family law, civil and commercial litigation, liquor liability, foreclosures, and premises liability with two prominent Denver insurance defense firms.She currently focuses on the litigation of architect and engineering errors and omissions claims, personal injury, and insurance bad faith defense.
Julia Morgenthau's practice focuses on personal injury, construction and commercial litigation. She is a committed advocate throughout the entire litigation process, dedicated to providing effective legal solutions to her clients. Julia received her law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law.
Robyn was born in Saginaw, Michigan and grew up splitting her time between Michigan in the summer and Tennessee during the school year. After going to college in northern Michigan at Ferris State University on an academic and debate scholarship, Robyn relocated to Boulder, Colorado for law school.
For more than a decade, Jeffrey Ruebel and Casey Quillen have defended construction professionals against single family, multi-family (residential) and commercial construction defect claims. With a focus on the defense of architects and engineers, the firm challenges the paradigm that an effective defense cannot be cost effective.
