Shade trees which are very important in the desert. Nice dog park with shade trees, benches and picnic tables. Nice level extra long parking spurs. Good water pressure and WiFi. The road in and around the grounds is a little narrow but overall a good rv park. If grass is important to you try the green river state park.

Green River area is a good stop over if you are going from Zion/Bryce to Moab. The perks to Shady Acres is they have pull thru sites, a great laundry facility, great dog park and clean bathrooms as advertised.

The downside is the RV camping felt dirty with no grass and parked on dirt. There were also no fire pits.

Came here since they advertised long pull through full hookup sites. I called first to make sure they were open and had sites. Yes, plenty of sites. No mention that they had turned the water off in the park for the winter. When we arrived we were told the water at the sites was turned off but we could fill at a spicket. But instead of a 100 foot paved site as advertised we got a half dirt, half blacktop site against a perimeter wire fence even though there were very few rigs in the park and plenty of long pull throughs. The checkin young man told us that there was no sewer at the site. He was wrong

Shady Acres is a good RV campground. The size of the campsites could be a foot wider, so those with slide outs would not find it difficult to put them out without hitting a tree branch. Most of the sites did not have this problem. The dog park was fenced and most of it was well maintained. The staff members were friendly and very helpful in planning trips in the area or recommending several places to eat. I think it would help if the RV park had some updating- fresh coat of paint here and there, fox tails removed from the dog park. It was nice having the service station and car wash at the

Trying to put too many lots in. Cut the tree down with the exit sign to give more room. Get rid of the huge boulders by the exit. Not spaces by the fence/road near the front bathroom.
The back area seemed ok but didn't pay that much attention to it. Lot 9 your picnic table is on driver side. Lot 8 your picnic table and grill is right beside the dumpster.
The bathrooms were clean and you had two individual showers. They were on the small side but had good pressure. I had the hot water on full and barely any cold at all.
Would probably not stay again.

This is a nice campground. Large spaces, shade trees. There's a wildlife viewing area in the back. It has a country feel with plenty of dog walking opportunities. Quiet at night. It has large laundry facilities, & a RV wash in addition to a car wash. Enjoyed our stay here.
