One important and unique component of our service is converting all types of objects into lamps.
We have created beautiful and memorable lamps from, among other things, vases, both antique and new (wood, metal, crystal or porcelain) and oil lamps, silver (and other) candlesticks, copper fire extinguishers and oil burning torches, wood carvings, musical instruments, golf clubs and other sporting items, painted tins, baskets, champagne and other special liquor bottles, milk bottles, books and computer servers.

Having the correct size chandelier for your room is important. If the chandelier is too small it will become lost in the space, and may not provide enough lumens to adequately light the space. If the chandelier is too large, it will overwhelm the space resulting in an imbalance in the room. There are two important factors used in determining the correct size chandelier for any room such as a dining room, kitchen, bedroom, or entryway/foyer.

We also offer the ability to customize your shade selection. And, finally, we have a line of specialty lampshades that have become very popular!

From papers - translucent to opaque to linens - tight to loose weaves to silks - shantungs to dupionis and pongees, to antique satins, chintzes, and cotton, we offer a wide range of fabrics from which to choose.

Once you select your shape, then you can choose from a variety of lampshade styles from within that general shape.

I recently had a lovely Frederick Cooper fringed shade repaired, the lining was all torn.
I am overjoyed with Concord’s incredible craftsmanship and their attention to detail on the interior and exterior of the shade.
The repaired shade is absolutely exquisite.

Purchasing from Concord Lamp & Shade has been a great experience and I would highly recommend them. I purchased two lampshades months apart. Both lampshade purchases were completed virtually. On both occasions, I worked with Ann to ensure the final product was exactly what I wanted. She sent me fabric samples and trims to choose from after describing to her the lamps and the shade ‘look’ that I was trying to achieve. Both lampshades met all of my expectations and the quality was excellent. Highly recommend!

Excellent. They go out of their way to help you. I wanted to match two silk drum shades that had rotted from old age. They did. It's a small shop and full of lamps and shades, but they can order custom made shades too. The clerk was very pleasant even with a store full of people waiting on a Saturday. I highly recommend them and hope someday they open a shop in Concord, NH!

I have a 40-year old lamp with an odd sized shade. The old silk shade had become really torn and ratty, and, after looking at this lamp for 40 years, I just couldn't bring myself to buy a ready-made shade in the wrong size. Ann at Concord Lamp & Shade offered me options, and we went with refurbishing the shade's original frame and recovering it in similar fabric. I HONESTLY CAN HARDLY TELL THE DIFFERENCE FROM THE ORIGINAL SHADE! Concord's operation is top notch: professional, detailed, and truly custom. I simply could not be happier. (And many thanks to Ann, who was ultra helpful!)

It was wonderful dealing with this company. My favorite Waterford lamp shade's inside lining became ripped. The proprietor, Ann Eckert, was a delight and answered my questions and gave me alternatives to replace or reline the shade. She quoted me the prices for both alternatives in a detailed email that explained the work that would be needed to be done.. I choose to reline the lamp shade.
The work was completed and shipped back to me when promised.
I could not be more pleased with the result. It looks like a brand new lamp.

Concord Lamp & Shade's amazing customer service and expertise completely changed the look and feel of our rental house by helping us design and upgrade the overhead lighting in our office and living room. We were able to customize the shades to match our decor and consult on the measurements of the shade. I used to hate the overhead lighting in our house to the point of never letting my husband turn it on, now I am in love and our lights are on all the time! Thank you for making our house feel like home!
