If you are on the lookout right now for a photographer, do yourself a favor, save a huge step, and HIRE ANCHOR & VEIL PHOTOGRAPHY! You can thank me later. I searched up and down for a local photographer (although they will travel anywhere for you) and something kept pulling me back to Anchor & Veil. They keep a busy business with others, but make you feel like one of a kind from beginning to end.

It's taken me a long time to write this because I was so emotional about my experience but I'm finally ready to warn everyone about my experience. We hired A&V for our engagement photos, rehearsal, wedding day and for video.
They have different packages based on who you want to hire for your photographer. We went with the most expensive, hiring the owner himself, Devin.
First off the photos in their portfolio I question if they are even theirs because what photos we did receive were nothing like those and Devin posts asking for brides to pose and stage photos for his classes.

THE BEST! Having Anchor and Veil shoot the most important event in my life was surreal! From the engagement shoot to boudoir to our beautiful wedding, it was all amazing. Everyone was eagerly waiting to see our pictures based on how good our engagement shoot was! Let me tell you, this group has it down pat! Devin, Mabyn, and Katie(Boudoir) all made me feel so comfy it’s like I’ve known them for years! Being a Covid bride you just need some reassurance that everything was going to be okay and it was! Love you guys!!

We loved working with Anchor & Veil for our engagement photos and our wedding! Devin has a unique way of capturing all of his photos, and they are all jaw dropping beautiful. He makes the photoshoots so much FUN and loved having that energy on our big day!! We worked with Devin & Ali for photography on our wedding and they blew us away. When Anchor & Veil came out with their videographer team, we got on that right away. We LOVE all the work that they create and not only that, but who they are and their big hearts. They love LOVE! AMAZING. Let me just start by saying, Anchor and Veil deserves 6 stars. My husband and I have had the pleasure of not only working with Devin and Kathryn, but simply getting to know them. They are the BEST people with fantastic personalities that light up every room. They make you feel so comfortable while you're shooting and it shows in the photos. Not to mention - their work is phenomenal. They capture detail better than anyone in the business and truly leave you with photos that allow you to go back to every second of your day and relive that moment. Devin and Kathryn are not only crazy talented, but they're also really genuine and thoughtful people. You'll never feel as comfortable with a wedding vendor as you will with them. Cue the HEART EYES emoji! Devin and Kathryn are magicians with a lens. Their style is bold, dramatic, beautiful and they made even the most awkward couple feel comfortable in front of the camera. They captured our day perfectly and even sent us beautiful sneak peaks less than 48 hours after our wedding and our full wedding suite just 14 days after we said "I Do". INCREDIBLE.

We LOVED having Anchor and Veil at our wedding weekend! Photography was one of the most important aspects of our wedding and we had high expectations; our expectations were blown away! We LOVE Anchor & Veil! Devin and Kathryn are not only incredibly talented photographers who captured the intimate moments of our wedding day with the artistic flare we wanted, but they cared deeply about the unique family traditions we included. Their positive attitudes were fun and so easy to work with-- especially when the hustle and shyness of being photographed on your wedding day can be a nervous feeling.
