Gerald Lowe founded Homescapes over 30 years ago after working as a plumbing and heating contractor. Gerald was doing work for a customer who asked if he could install a central vacuum system in her home. He researched the product, found a supplier, and installed it.
The customer was so thrilled with the system that Gerald decided to add central vacuum installation and service to his offerings and added home theater systems, surround sound, TV wiring, and related services as demand increased.Gerald's son, Dean, joined his father in 1982, eventually taking over the operation of Homescapes.

They have a great install crew that was knowledgeable on how to install the vacuum system. We did have a communication error that led to me leaving a bad review, however the company reached out to me, and wanted to fix the problem. Which meant a lot to me. Thank you Peggy from Homescapes for your customer service, and correcting a negative experience. It shows that your company does care about your customer.

While the customer service is nice and everything, there is no general care to accommodate customers with their problems. Waited a whole week for a call back and called in everyday except one day trying to get an answer with no avail. Now I am waiting another half week for feedback on a new issue and cannot get anyone to give me an answer. Camera system has been inoperable for about a month now and no does anything to get back to you or set up appointments to come look at. Been trying to cancel services for almost a month and no one returns calls or emails. 1 star for the customer service.

We have had homescape services since December as it was a deal with our new home purchase. We have found this company pretty difficult to work with from the beginning. We have spent multiple months altogether without any service and quite a bit of time with constant disruption. We had tried to get the most recent disruption taken care of to no avail. Countless calls and emails with no response or just being told it would be fixed if we deleted some videos. During this time we did home improvement and trusted that the camera on our front porch would help us keep eye on thousands of dollars in fencing
