Very disappointed with the dinner that we just had here as well as the behavior of the owner. Went to celebrate my sister in law’s birthday and brother in law got his dish. He wasn’t a huge fan of his dish because it smelled very fishy, definitely not fresh seafood and borderline rancid. I smelled it three seats away.

Honestly they had great service, decent size portion food but for me I did not like the flavors. My bread didn’t have any salt for me to taste the dough, my steak was missing the flavor, and my wine was bitter. I scored it high because those things are all how I felt but the place wasn’t for me. Again their service was excellent but the flavors we not there for me. Would not be willing to try again.

I had the Deep Dish Sicilian Special Pizza. It was below average. I have had better frozen pizza. The positives-generous cheese and pizza sauce and good tasting Canadian Bacon and the right amount of breading. The negatives - inconsistent distribution of the toppings. A couple of the end pieces had no toppings and were burnt and breaking due to being dried out. The sausage had no taste and hard to distinguish from the hamburger. Even though we have never actually visited the restaurant the delivery options surprise and delight us every time! The most delicious and authentic Italian we have found lately with generous portions and perfectly prepared! We love the eggplant parmigiana....crispy eggplant in the rich tomato sauce with lots of gooey cheese! The shrimp albino with plump, firm shrimp and delicious pasta is over the top. Spaghetti with mushrooms and fettuccine Alfredo are both favorites with tasty sauces and are well done!

First time visiting luigi's today 9/3/21 for dinner. Went based on reviews on Yelp. Would love to know how they got 4 stars. We each had the pasta sampler and a dinner salad. Now the house Italian dressing deserves 5 stars. It's a tomato vinaigrette and was great. The garlic knots where cold and had very little flavor. The pasta sampler we ordered was just simply terrible. Ordered on with Alfredo sauce and one regular. The "Alfredo" sauce was just white cream sauce with zero flavor. The filling for the manicotti was super salty. The lasagne was indistinguishable from the manicotti

We had a party of 10 people and 4 kids, and everything went pretty smoothly. The bread was incredibly tasty, took me back to my childhood when bread was still made out of real organic ingredients, not like today, out of chemicals that even bacteria doesn't want to eat. This was our first time here, and I'm sensing it won't be last. Enjoy!

I wish I could tell you if their food was good or not, but my husband called to make an order and the person in the phone was so rude and talked down to him that I will NEVER give this place my business. We just moved here from out of state and the guy talked down to my husband like he was stupid. The phone was on speaker because we were having a bad connection so I heard every bit of it. We love to shop local and support small businesses but I wouldn't give a dime of my cash to anyone who can't even be polite on the phone. We all have bad days but don't take it out on your potential

Promptly seated and our drink order was taken. After drinks were presented, the waitress took our meal order.
I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. It was outstanding! My wife ordered Chicken Parmesan and it too was excellent; not your typical Olive Garden dry chicken cutlet smothered in cheese.
We had a chance to meet the owner Mario. What a nice guy!

This place is a gem. The food is perfection! It's always busy so the locals love it. I'm new to Rockwall and have gotten two to go orders.
The first to go order was pizza and came with three rolls. The second order was lasagna, baked ziti, chicken pasta with wine sauce, fried calamari, and lots of free garlic knot rolls. Everything was fresh, hot and tasted homemade. They have high standards of cleanliness and wonderful staff. Everyone was welcoming and smiling

Pretty solid Italian eatery serving the standard orders you'd expect. The table garlic knots are good and are better than the genetic bread served at most places. The pizza is generously topped and even tastes solid when cold the next day. Everything is fairly priced but doesn't stand out in a great way.

We arrived 10 minutes after we were told our order would be ready. They didn't start making our to-go order until we were inside waiting. This has been the norm for the last several times my family has ordered.

I've been coming here sporadically for years. Every time I visit I ask myself why it has been so long since I've eaten here. I have been sorely disappointed in the Italian restaurants in the MetroPlex. I have stumbled on some pretty good ones - I have to admit that. Luigi's still stand out in my mind as a delightful dining experience, starting with the delicious rolls. Maybe that's why I haven't been here often - I need to stay away from their rolls, they are entirely too good.
