Nestled in the forest on the North Fork of the Santiam River, just off Hwy 22 in Idanha, Oregon. River Mountain Rv Park is a perfect retreat in which to enjoy hiking, fishing, boating, or just simple peace and quiet. We are halfway between Sisters and Salem, Oregon in the beautiful Cascade Mountain Range.

Detroit Lake is only 3 miles away for summer water fun, only minutes away from the snow parks/atv trails, and a 30-minute drive from Hoo-Doo Ski Bowl or Breitenbush Hot Springs. Our park offers a beautiful view of Mount Jefferson. The park is surrounded by breathtaking scenery close to many popular fishing holes, spectacular high mountain lakes, and many different hiking trails.

First time camping here. Very clean and quiet. No issues with other campers. Right on the river, landing a few nice keepers close to camp. Hosts were great. Cabins were fun. Definitely coming back again.

Was able to get the last spot for an overnight stay during a road long trip. Turns out this was the weekend of the record heat wave throughout central Oregon with 100 plus temps. Upon checking in, our campground host, Laurie, was able to put our Class-C in a shaded spot. Very friendly and helpful. Peaceful and quiet. Next time we’ll bring our fishing gear and stay longer!

Great park, great hosts! Laurie and Jim are two very fine folks who made my stay the best. I enjoyed moments by the river and the quiet of the weekdays. The wifi, only by the office, is the only negative I can think of. And it's still available...

Beautiful campground! River is too fast to swim but the scenery was beautiful. Bathroom was clean. Only negative thing I would say are the tent sites are pretty small. Had they been able to fill all the tent sites (couldn't because of Covid) there would be very little privacy and would have been pretty cramped. Appreciated the hospitality of the camp hosts and had a great time while we were there.

One of my favorite spots! Great price, super clean, river on the side of the park, friendly staff. WiFi is spotty but who cares I don't want service when I'm camping! Easy to get to any outdoor activities you want, stores near by for some supplies. I've been here twice now and still enjoying it just as much as the first time. Already have reservations for another stay! Thanks for everything to the staff!

I was totally surprised about this place. When we first pulled in it didn't look very big and it was adjacent to the water area. But after being there for a little bit we realized that there was never a wait for the bathrooms or showers, which is usually unheard of when you are camping. Also it was really quiet and peaceful at night. The electrical hookups were great, everything worked just fine. I was happy that we could literally walk to the fishing spot and we caught 3 fish. It was a great place to spend the 4th of July.

This park is awesome, we stayed there for about a week for the last couple years and look forward to our next visit. theres a laundry room, and a bathroom with showers. The set up is perfect, rvs in one section, and the tents down a little hill making it more private, tents have a nice flat area, with large tent sites, fire pits and picnic tables , the tent area was so nice, and close to the river it made me want to camp in a tent. The owners are super nice, she went around letting everyone know when the fish and game released a ton of fish right up river. Its a very homey campground that's in

Had a fantastic stay at this little gem of an RV park. We opted to tuck our small trailer in the tent session which was right on the river. The grounds were spotless and peaceful, nothing like your standard RV park where they cram as many in as possible. Laurie was fantastic and very customer service focused. We loved it and we'll be back.
