CE&G's engineering geologists characterize the geologic conditions at each project site to provide a broad understanding of the underlying bedrock and soil conditions at and around the project. The site characterization is refined through the completion of subsurface exploration and laboratory testing programs.
Unlike most geotechnical firms, CE&G offers comprehensive civil design capabilities including preparation of ready-for-bidding plans, specifications, and estimates for public works projects. The majority of the in-house design work involves geo/civil structures such as lateral earth retaining systems, pavements, bridge foundations, trenchless pipelines, and storm drain improvements.
