American Alloy Fabrication
American Alloy Fabrication, Inc. (AAFI) has been serving customers with metal fabricated components for more than 35 years. Our success is a result of our continued investment in the latest manufacturing technologies as well as our aggressive focus on quality, lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
Services
American Alloy was established as a one-man shop in 1980 to support local industries with a precision welding service. As business grew, customer's demand for more value-added services began to increase. American Alloy accepted the challenge by reinvesting resources into new equipment and hiring additional employees.
Our advanced metal working capabilities enable us to cut and form sheet metal into intricate shapes and complex components. Laser cutting is an extremely versatile and cost effective process for producing flat pattern blanks. Burr free parts with superior edge quality can be cut from virtually any type of material, without exception to extreme contours or close tolerances.
Most mechanical assemblies require some form of secondary machining or the inclusion of machined components. As part of our mission to provide complete manufacturing services, AAFI offers both conventional and CNC machining. Specializing in precision milling and turning, our in-house facility contributes to our overall capabilities of being a one-stop source.
Precision Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) is one of our specialties. This process grants the operator greater control over the weld allowing for stronger, higher quality welds. We have multiple TIG welding stations and all of our welding technicians have mastered this process. AAFI has many years of experience in this process and our expertise covers the welding of carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and more.
Secondary processes such as metal finishing are equally important to the manufacture of a product. At AAFI these operations are performed by skilled personnel and monitored by Quality Control with the same consistency as our primary processes. Many of today's stainless steel products have an attractive straight-line, grained finish.
