The Anita Grand Motel is a comfortable 10 room motel located in Anita, Iowa. Our clean, country style, friendly motel is a great place to stay in a wonderful community. As new owners we have been working on updating and refitting all the rooms. Room amenities include microwaves, refrigerators, TVs, and FREE WI-FI.

We also offer a complimentary continental breakfast of hot or cold cereals and pastrys, along with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. All our rooms are non-smoking and we are pet friendly. Nightly, weekly and monthly rates are available.

Absolutely beautiful little motel nestled nicely off the expressway. Worth the drive 10 minutes or so from your route to find a place with some class. 10 rooms, bed and breakfast feel, full sized bed.

I stayed here for a couple of months while I was in town for work, and it was a great experience. The owners are wonderful people, and the room was very nice, clean, and cozy. If I ever come back to Anita, I'll definitely be staying here again. 10/10

We needed a place to sleep after travelling all day, and all other surrounding motels were booked. The manager/owner was understanding and had one room available which we took. Their kindness and smiling attitudes are the reason this rating is higher. I entered the room and was immediately attacked by a hornet. I managed to kill it, only to find it was not the sole dead bug on the floor. There were dead bugs everywhere, especially in the bathroom. Very quiet and nice microwave and refrigerator amenities. However, your experience probably depends on the room you get. Our room was not renovated, smelled musty, and wasn't particularly clean. My young son found a lighter and casino card under the bed and when I looked under the beds I saw lots of other items as well. I was glad we were leaving soon. Motel advertised as providing a variety of items for breakfast (oatmeal, cereal, hot chocolate, pastries etc), but we were only offered donuts and coffee. Not my idea of breakfast or appropriate for children. Was dog friendly and staff was nice.

The people who run it are great! You will immediately feel like part of the family. Beds are new and comfortable. Sheet's sent to a laundry and ironed. I love this cute little vintage Motel!!!!

We stopped off here at 2am and the couple that runs the place couldn't have been sweeter! Incredibly kind and accommodating, with very cozy, comfortable rooms. Loved everything about this place.

This was by far one of the best experiences I have ever had staying in a motel or even a hotel. Sandra the owner was just the best, I immediately felt so welcomed and comfortable. The rooms were adorable and super clean, and first thing in the morning we got coffee and donuts. I can't wait to find myself going cross country again just to stay here one more time.
