I had no problem with Dr. Hensley, in fact I liked him and thought he seemed like a good doctor. I wanted to get a second opinion so I went in person and asked the receptionist for my biopsy record. She told me that was not possible and could take up to 10 or 14 business days. What she didn’t tell me was that the doctor I was going to see the next day could request the records (which was like one page) and they would send them immediately. So, the other doctor’s office did request the record and it was sent immediately. No, I did not like the receptionist attitude or the fact that she did not

I have now been here twice for 2 different issues. I was in an out within an hour each time, had my questions answered, and everyone from those who checked me in, to those who checked me out, have been very nice and answered all my questions. The wait time to get an appointment is a bit long but, it was faster then every other place I called! Highly recommend.

I am so happy with Metroplex Dermatology. From my 1st visit a year ago to my most recent this week I have had nothing but positive experiences. From the receptionists to out the door schedulers I have always been treated pleasantly by everyone that is there. The process is so streamlined that most of your visit is actually spent getting care. Richard Brandt. P.A. and his Nurse Liz, and the rest of his staff make me know they are looking out for my whole Dermatological health, not just a single issue. I really appreciate their attitude towards my better health.

Very disappointed with my first botox to get rid of frown lines. When telling them the lines were still very visible they told me I would have to schedule and pay for more botox. If it was going to take more than one visit I should have been told that. Also very hard to talk to anyone when you call. You always get voice mail and they take forever to return your call. I won't be visiting them again. I feel they are trying to get more money from me and not meeting my expectations.

Dr. Hensley is a very good dermatologist and genuinely cares about his patients. He is very friendly, personable, and has a great "bedside manner". He strives hard to develop the best solution for the issue and the solutions WORK! We've been seeing him for two decades now. Highly recommend, but get your appointment early as he is very popular and is often booked up for months in advance.

They will charge you for multiple visits, with zero results. They will send your blood samples to a third party which will also charge you horrific amounts for those samples. They were unprepared to what bacteria I had even after I paid $375 for those samples, only for them still to be uniformed. The last appointment they charged me $95 to give me more of the same antibiotics for 7 days and refer me to a general surgeon, because they weren't going to be able to fix the issue. I was having my 3rd and last laser peel treatment. Dr. Hensley was saying things to the assistant which made it sound like he didn't know what he was doing. Later that I was in extreme pain and then around 1:00 in the morning I got up and two temples and one cheek was oozing with a liquid. I went to go see a PA in their office the next morning. I wanted to speak to her alone without any one else in the top. (Like a scribe or nurse) and I was denied. I have psoriasis, and the physician wasn't able to improve my symptom for 2 years. Moreover, the staff's working system is unprofessional and inefficient. I went on 3 months without a medication as they were going to get me a new medication. Not only my psoriasis got worse, but also I didn't receive my medication, and there were many complications such as missing lab works and wrong pharmacies to the point that I myself have to call my insurance and the medication company. If you have psoriasis, check out Dr. Turner in Dallas, they are just as affordable and way more professional

Bethany is THE BEST!! I drove 3 hours to see her to get Botox and I will continue to drive to see her! I came in today for the Kybella treatment to get rid of the pesky double chin I have had my entire life. Bethany, the RN who did the procedure, was fabulous. She was very professional and kind and explained the procedure in detail and answered any questions I had. The procedure was quite painful (I mean, needles in the face won't ever feel good), but she offered me breaks whenever I needed them and did her very best to keep me comfortable. It was also very obvious that she is very detailed and always strives to do very high-quality work. I would not hesitate to see her again for other treatments
