Brown & Sons has an on-site crematory at the 43rd Street location and is only used for the families we are privileged to serve. The crematory is available for inspection at any time upon request. Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.
Most of us are not prepared to plan and carry out a funeral ceremony for someone we love. I ordered flowers for a co worker out of the state from where I live. I ordered on line which I don't like to do I would rather call a local shop. I found this local florist online. I was in a rush and I didn't realize, I made a mistake inserting my own address on the form. Someone from the shop immediately called me to verify.

Of course this experience is not a pleasant one, my husband was my soulmate. During the most difficult time of my life, Ryan greeted me as I first entered into a place that I did not want to be. He had patience with me, answered all my questions and even let me tell him "my story" as I cried. I felt relief. I knew of no mortuary and had not prepared for this unexpected event. My neighbor had used "Brown & Sons" and told me how wonderful they were to her and her family. I also met with Mark the following day and he too went above and beyond to accommodate me with a very special request. I will forever

When our brother passed away in Bradenton, my sister and I were left with handling everything from our homes up North. We are so thankful for Brown and Sons. The professionalism and compassion shown us by Ryan and Joymarie turned what could have been a very trying situation into a completely manageable one.
