Camp Hidden Meadows
Time spent away from home should be an opportunity to expand one's horizons, learn new and exciting skills, and make long-lasting friendships. Under the guidance of caring and qualified leaders, campers are involved in activities that require their participation both physically and mentally.

Scaling a rock face, saddling a horse for the first time, or sampling a dish made of food you helped harvest in our gardens requires an open mind and willingness to try new things - Hidden Meadows is about creating a new way of looking at yourself and your relationship to the world.
Services
As parents, we understand the desire to find that magical place your child can call their summer home. For the past 30 years, we have been dedicated to providing young people with experiences that are fun, safe, and rewarding. We set our sights high and our families appreciate it. While great camps exist in many places we believe our stunning location, beautifully maintained facility, and wide range of activities stand out.
Our ability to set each individual camper up for success and deliver a growth-filled, safe, and fun summer is something we are proud of. Campers live in cabins and are grouped by age. Two counselors live in each cabin. An additional head staff member is assigned to our youngest campers (having completed first grade) to ensure our smallest camp community members are provided with extra care as needed.
Our location has been described by many as breathtaking. As you follow the trail through the riverside meadows and across the bridge you come to our "camp village." Here you will find our office, health center, dining hall, cabins, art center, and a host of recreational and training facilities such as our sports fields, basketball court, bike skills park, equestrian arena, pond, climbing walls, challenge course, swimming pool, and more.
Our CIT program is specially designed to provide leadership opportunities while having a fantastic camp experience in a small group setting. This four week program is selective and requires an interview. CIT's live in cabin with campers and a lead counselor. Throughout the four weeks, they gain real-world experience assisting in a variety of program areas such as field games, camp festivals, and more.
We take great care to provide campers with a warm and welcoming home away from home. Nestled amongst the meadows, stream, and hillside our cabins are grouped in clusters based on age and gender. We are lucky in that our location in the mountains allows a cool mountain breeze to provide plenty of fresh air at all times.

Visited over a weekend for a post-season private event. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and the staff we had were one-in-a-million!

When I arrived at the camp it turned out that most of the listed activities on the website were not available. There was also a lot of waiting around and not much structure. I would definitely not recommend.

Very exiting and fun. The staff is very kind and friendly too. The camp brings people from all around the world. The camp doesn’t make food for people who have dairy allergies. If you have dairy allergies and are coming to the camp you will be eating vegan food because they don’t offer dariy-free options. My daughter, who is allergic to dariy and eggs, had to talk to the chef and her counselors to get a dairy-free option and even than had to eat vegan food. Even though on the forms we specified that she had an allergy they made her eat vegan options. Other than the food my daughter loved the

Even the camp offers transportation service from Cooper Middle School in Mclean Virginia we always like to drive our kid to the camp and pick up him from the camp. Looks like the camp continuously adding new structures to improve camp activities. The staffs are nice and facilities are clean. No cell phone or other electronics allowed so kids can focus on nature and activities. Real people face to face interactions. My kid and his friend are repeated campers here. I wish the camp store carry some swimming clothings cause I forgot to pack swim truck for my kid. 🤣 a lot of kids complained the food

A fantastic, beautiful, and freindly place that will make you want to come back next year. I know I did! I went to this camp for 8 years from age 8 to 16 and I didnt want to go anywhere else. The counselors are super freindly, charming, and interesting and the cabins are what you would expect from a camp, a rustic yet homey abode. One thing that this camp does better then most is its food! Seriously, they cook better then what I get at home. Simply amazing.
