This place is awesome! This is exactly what I want when I go camping, or "glamping". The location is isolated and picturesque. The cabins are extremely nice, well-stocked, and well kept. The location is amazing - you're in a somewhat small area of woods, next to a river, and at the foot of a mountain (well, very large hill). We stayed in Cabin 1 which is at the end and faced away from the other cabins so we felt very secluded which is perfect. The cabins themselves are excellent. The furniture is really nice, there is a great fire pit (with plenty of wood provided!), a jacuzzi tub

Had a reservation set for late October. Called in September to see about canceling since our family had an unexpected loss and expense. The owners website even says they will work with you in such cases. The owner STEVE was rude, charged me anyway because it's "not his problem". I even offered to look for other people to take my weekend stay ( let's be real a cabin in benezette in October will sell quick). The owner made a profit off my misfortune and made even more profit by having a month to find another booker. It's business but personally I would rather give my money

Steve was unsympathetic to our plight, and charged us $450.63 for the canceled reservation. He told us that the cancellation policy is to give at least 60 days notice, and not 30. I certainly don't expect anyone to lose money due to our emergency situation, but our reservation was for the second week in October (Columbus Day week) which is prime time for foliage and elk viewing, so I'm sure our cabin will be quickly rented again. It would be more fair to have a
