The Front Street Caf is a quaint cafe & gallery bistro set along the banks of the Ohio River in the historic village of New Richmond, Ohio. It began as an idea to bring the people of New Richmond, Anderson Township and other surrounding towns in Northern Kentucky and Ohio together to chat, have coffee, sandwiches and other baked goods while peacefully looking over the Ohio River and Kentucky hills.
But like the town of New Richmond and Front Street itself, the cafe has evolved, adding delicious dinner entrees from our in-house chef de cuisine Neil Reissig, a fully-stocked bar serving popular beers, wines and spirits, a stage for our live backyard musical performances, and an outdoor grill for summertime barbecuing.

Services
We offer quality live entertainment Friday & Saturday evenings, featuring bluegrass/American roots, classic/acoustic rock, blues, jazz, swing, Celtic, and other genres. We have a fine range of artists that love to stop by and perform for our guests! Every Wednesday night is Wine-Down Wednesday, where our wines are half-off.
Contact us about setting up your party with delicious sandwiches, soups, salads, drinks and more. If you've got a large group you'd like to bring in and would like to reserve some tables, give us a call! We have a great semi-private room that is separated from our main dining room, but still allows views and access to live music!

My husband I came down to Front Street and ordered our food, the waitress didn't write anything down and yes the order was incorrect and plus she didn't bring the salad out until we already had our meal.
Always, coming to this restaurant, we spend at least 100.00 per visit.
We been coming here for a few years and since the management has changed, the service and employees has changed to worst. Today, they are (8) waitresses standing around.
Management needs to listen to the customers or your business will fail.

I love local eateries. Add a great view of the Ohio River and a picture perfect day to sit outside and bingo! A great time celebrating my son's birthday.
I was pleasantly surprised by the menu offerings. Much better than the last time I visited, a couple years ago. I've learned new owners took over recently and they really stepped up the game.
I'm not the pickiest of diners and was very pleased with my chicken ranch wrap. My son ordered the turkey club and was quite pleased.
Our server was personable and efficient. In light of our birthday celebration, my son was offered his choice

Finally visited the Front Street Cafe in New Richmond. It had been years. Overall impression: nice and cool. Beautiful view of the Ohio River. Food was excellent. I had the August panini special. This was a pulled pork and ham with jalapeños, special sauce on ciabatta...think a spicy Cuban. Wife had a turkey avocados sandwich on ciabatta. Both were delicious. The only downer was the iced tea. Had an odd taste and was strangely murky. Otherwise excellent service and clean restrooms. Parking was easy and close. Front Street has live music on weekends. Plenty of outdoor dining options. Decent indoor

Nice riverfront cafe with seating on front and in back for evening dinners. I love their Reuben sandwiches. My husband enjoys their ham and cheese paninis. Service mixed depending on the server. Mostly good.you don't mind because the atmosphere on the patio is great. They have Bonboniere desserts, although we don't usually get them. Prices a little high but food quality good. New owners but both have been at the cafe for several years so I don't anticipate big changes unless they are improvements.

Come for the view. Leave because of the food.
We arrived at 6:30pm on a Friday night. We were seated right away as there were several tables open. Within just a couple of minutes the waitress arrived and took our drink order. She returned with 2 glasses that were supposed to be iced tea but looked and tasted more like Ohio River water.
We placed our appetizer and main course order at the same time. The bacon wrapped shrimp came 45 minutes later. The shrimp were not overcooked and the bacon was crispy, but the BBQ sauce was certainly from a jar and the garnish of greens was completely wilted

My wife and I tried the Front Street Cafe for the first time this evening, based upon our exploration of the Yelp app and their own website.
Cozy cafe along the Ohio River. The website featured specials during the week, including half price wine on Wednesday and free chef made desserts on Thursday, with purchase of a dinner entree. (We ate here on a Thursday My wife had the meatloaf and I had the Pasta Lafayette. Both meals were well prepared and delicious.
Why the single star review you may ask? My wife mentioned that staff were not wearing masks properly, not covering nose, and as the

This place is doing it right! Our party of 4 sat outside. Great atmosphere, food, friends, and entertainment. This place is playing by the rules of COVID-19. The food was great. Our entrees were, salmon, sea bass, a Caesar salad, and pork chop. Everything was prepared to perfection! Service is good! This place is treasure.

The view is beautiful. The food is very good! We ordered the Sunday brunch steak special and split it, with a house salad. Plenty of food for 2!
My favorite by far was that house salad- it was fantastic! Some of the best ranch dressing I have ever had as well.
Service with a smile. I will definitely come back here when I am in the area.
