Stay far far away from this Doctor. My wife had three surgeries with this guy she went from bad to terrible. He said her spine was fused for over a year and it turns it out she was not this was verified by two NYC prominent surgeons. Not to mention Mullins had conflicting diagnosis with Dr. Sharma in the same day in regards to my wife suffering from myelomalacia damage to her spinal cord because of his surgery. This Dr. should be ashamed of himself. My wife will never be the same thanks to Mullins.

Only heard good things about Dr. Mullins, but I did not experience it. After several months of my putting off surgery he recommended, i was now ready and went to see dr Mullins with my son as an extra set of ears. Wanted vf to put all my ducks in a row and schedule. Dr Mullins treated me like I was an old car, said we went over this, and suggested I go home and think about it.
My son and I were shocked. I then got a call to see if I was scheduling surgery. Peggy was lovely. I told her story. Bottom line, instead of the high holy doctor calling me, Peggy said Mullins suggested I think about it

Dr. Mullins is by far one of the best surgeons I have ever seen. After suffering from pain for years, Dr. Mullins was able to figure out the source of the issue almost immediately. He has great bedside manner and clearly cares about his patients wellbeing - not just in terms of their surgical care, but also making sure they understand each step of the process. Surgery went off without a hitch and I am already feeling better. I highly recommend Dr. Mullins!

Dr. Mullins is the best neurosurgeon you can find! He did my back surgery and I new I was in the best hands. I feel very lucky and grateful to have found him. He examined me asked me questions and was very thorough. After he did my back surgery I was absolutely fine after being in excruciating pain!!! He's very professional one of the best back neck and spine specialists you could find, and a very nice person as well. I highly recommend him! Matter of fact, I would only recommend him!!

Most amazing staff in any location and they are always polite pleasant & kind& go above and beyond for the patients.I recently had a glitch in my insurance and I had a staff member Laura actually take the time to rectify and not even a word about it I actually asked in amazement how did she do it? It was actually effort which most ppl today would just let it go if they pushed a button and it didn’t get approved so always always have my gratitude because when your in pain and need help they are there for you.Dr Mullins I could never be more grateful for I was up and working feeling great in 3

As a new patient I had come in to see Dr. Mullins for a consultation which typically includes and starts off with:
1. "Detailed Review of my medical history"
2. "A thorough examination"
3."A medical conclusion or/and referral."
When I arrived at the office I spent the avg. 15 minutes filling out NP Forms then another 2 hours had finally passed before I was able to see Dr.Mullins' Physician assistant.
Dr. Mullins enters the room as if he was already ready to leave. Without asking me ANY questions he enters the room with his pre-prepared medical conclusion. Handing me a referral to a chiropractor

Could not have asked for a better experience when it came to working with a neurosurgeon. At the age of 22 I had a bilateral microdiscectomy and experienced a year of excruciating pain. Dr. Mullins was patient, kind, informative and very detailed when it came to explaining what the surgery entailed. I would recommend him and the entire office to anyone.

Great staff, great office and great Dr's. Friendly and accommodate your every need. Very personable and compassionate. This group is not a production line....each patient is handled as a person,not a number or pay check ....they care and are sincere and helpful. The staff as well as the surgeons and pain management team go above and beyond. Very busy office and very well run. Not enough stars to rate them. Special thanks to Dr Zavarella,he is a special kind or Dr....exceptional bedside manner and in this day and age most hospitals and practices are losing that.....he brings faith back to the system
